Goldeneye. It was a jawdropping experience at the time.Guovssohas

At the time ;) If you go with it today and have never played it before being used to the now usual FPS controls you are going to have a bad time until you learn them lol.

Another poster mentioned the System Shock games...those are amazing and I would argue System Shock 2 against Half-Life 2 even. When it comes to legacy pc best that is.

Timesplitters is always good fun

Black on the ps2 is pretty underrated

and i have enjoyed the Medals of Honors from 1 to Rising Sun. European Assault and Vanguard are pretty meh...I would avoid those.

[QUOTE="Rattlesnake_8"][QUOTE="Meta-Gnostic"]

Do you think Sony will offer a version of PS+ for movies? How would you set it up if you were in charge of creating it?

Meta-Gnostic

Do you work for Sony and were asked to set it up.. cause if so we aren't telling you how to do your job.. sneaky. Nice try though.

Hahaha. I wish I worked for Sony. But seriously I've been thinking they should do a PS+ for movies for a while now. I haven't thought much about what that would actually be though, whether it be free rentals of certain movies or get to keep movies. I think we could come up with some good ideas for it though. Like they could give free rentals of movies that have sequels coming out or free rentals of movies of an actor that has a new movie coming out.

It would probably be something to that of like Netflix, but Amazon Video, Netflix, and Vudu are already available for the PS3...so it really isn't necessary for the ps3 to have a PS Plus movie section. Unless they add movies to the current ps plus plan. Which then that would be awesome, but I can't imagine it being too cost effective at the moment unless they start off with just their own produced movies.

I know have posted  a lot in this thread, but this is my most aniticipated game this year. Add my PSN: StrongBlackVine9 if you are TR fan and/or think you be playing multi-player.

I can't wait for those front loaded anvils

Huh?

It is a youtube joke lol...more specifically a retsupurae joke. They parody bad game reviews, lets plays, and flashes (Which is also where my sig comes from)

A digital download system similar to steam on the PC. If developers really wanted to kill the used game market this would be the way to do it.

Cross-party chat

DS3 functional. I know they have that new controller, but I don't want to end up buying 4 new controllers. Have the one as the main controller and then the DS3's can be used when guests are over.

Great Games. Polyphony, Naughty Dog, Suckerpunch, Media Molecule, Santa Monica, etc... This is too be expected.

Edit: I should rephrase the DD system, I like used games, but I also like Steam because there are great sales on steam where the developer gets the money. So if they get a system like Steam that will help ward off used game buyers because of how the system works. It would force the user to pay a little bit more for the hard copy as compared to the digital copy. Which I'm fine with that. I don't want used disks to be a thing of the past. I'm just hoping they provide an excellent alternative if you get what I'm saying.

It lacked in Racing Sims like Gran Turismo :P

Kidding aside...really the Genesis's calling card was arcade ports. Snes had some pretty bad ones. Other than that the SNES was unbeatable.

Love the topic

1. Gran Turismo 2 ... Soooo much race modding ... I loved taking stupid small cars and tuning the crap out of them and race modding them to compete in fast races.

2. Pokemon Silver ... First pokemon game I have ever had...I was 12 at the time I first got it...sooo...roughly 2003ish...many late nights spent with the old fat GB plugged into the wall. Green Backgrounds, but hey I didn't care lol.

3. Donkey Kong Country ... Pulled my first all nighter in the 1st grade with this game...And developed a hatred for snow barrel blast.

4. Super Mario World ... Loved unlocking all the hidden levels...I never got to the special world though until I was much older.

5. Spyro Year of the Dragon ... I had Crash 2 and Crash Warped as 3d platform games, but they weren't nearly as fun for me as the more open ended spyro game. Played it till I got 100% on everything...it was and still is my favorite 3d platforming series of all time.

Other games that have some serious nostalgic value

Baseball Stars-NES, Super Mario Bros, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Not the arcade versions), RC Pro-Am, Jurassic Park-Snes, Super Mario Kart-Snes, NFL QB Club 96-SNES, Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced, Final Fantasy 1&2 Dawn of Souls-GBA, Nascar Racing-PC
