@OneMoreJedi That's because Gearbox snatching Homeworld was in an earlier article (& the comments there are far more worried than those here); Darksiders' fate wasn't known until now.

@TheSkilledOne06 Because then the story would be forgettable, the writing cheesier than an athlete's foot, the characters virtually parodies of themselves, & the game no more than 6 hours long.

I love Platinum (it goes without saying that the combat would be fantastic) but I feel that Darksiders isn't really an appropriate series for them to pick up.

@mistablair Of course EA aren't the worst company in America, & anyone who actually thinks that is ignorant (for exactly the reasons you said). The point of pushing for them to get the 'award' is because they're probably the company on that list which comes the closest to actually caring about the results of an internet poll & they're probably the one which has the biggest chance of actually changing in any way. Surely it's better to achieve positive change in one of the less deserving companies than to simply announce something which people already know?

@Fryboy101 That wasn't really supposed to be taken at face value. It was more just making fun of his statement that the consumers haven't said that they would rather not have yearly releases, because the comments here are almost unanimously saying exactly that.

Well it's good to see that people aren't treating this as any different to CoD's yearly instalments. What really annoys me is that I'll probably get it no matter how little effort they put into the game.
