"I wouldn't want to play in 3D on such a small screen. Kinda defeats the purpose. Besides, it only works with six games."

...Nintendo 3DS, anyone?

@criticfromhell According to Ubisoft both sides are full of Templars, although I don't think they mentioned any of the Redcoats being 'good guys' though.

This has to be the biggest case of game producers being sadistic bastards I've seen. Seriously, this is disgusting.

Also want to add that they really need to sort their tech designs out. That mech has to be one of the most useless designs I've ever seen. What can it do that a tank with tracks can't? At least 2 legged mechs are fairly manoeuvrable (once you get round the problem of balancing) in cover, can look around corners & are generally smaller targets. Raising that thing off the ground so much not only makes it far more difficult to hide the thing, it also adds another facing which it is vulnerable to attack on - the underside -, thus requiring yet more armour & therefore more weight. Which the legs aren't as good as supporting as tracks are & the pic makes it obvious how slow this thing's top speed is. Also the secondary weapon is halfway down the mech (therefore barely benefiting from the extra height) & is on a fixed mount. Meaning the entire mech has to turn to let it shoot at its targets. Which 4 legs are horrendous at doing. It also means that, should it be immobilised (which would be fairly easy to make happen, as it'd only need to lose the use of a single leg [also easy due to fairly exposed joints] to collapse under its own tremendous weight) that gun will have nothing to shoot at unless the enemies just so happen to be involved in a conga line in front of it. Nothing wrong with the turret on top but the other gun is virtually useless. tl;dr - that mech design sucks. Rant over.

Fingers crossed that this will be be like a second CoD4 for the franchise. Not getting my hopes up too much though, chances are it'll just be the same game as it's been for the past 5 instalments with some extra bits tacked on.

Nice stuff. Not sure how you can have an entire book on it though - that was most of the origin story just there (& probably the most interesting bit too). All that's left after that are the reception, all the complaints in the media & maybe the changes made for the sequels.

Such a simple, yet (I think) original idea & it definitely looks like a laugh. Just gotta make sure that hard objects aren't left in the room at parties to be drunkenly hurled in the direction of the tv!

Getting lost in dark caves in Pokemon was great fun, especially when you didn't have anyone with Flash - ended up memorising the movements you had to make to navigate the cave rather than just mapping the layout. The new ones don't have maps in, do they? That would be a disappointment.
