Meh, it's common knowledge that most people are boring & stick to the familiar; for male gamers that just means choosing manshep & HURR GUNZ.

@Celiria_Rose Actually I didn't. Didn't even know who Polygon were (still don't, in fact). That does explain a lot, though (like why the video hasn't had a mention on GS, unlike every other thing that's come out of Ken's mouth this year). Cheers.

The more you know...

To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if they'd spent some stupid figure on marketing seeing as they've been so ridiculous with it; how many articles have we had about the cover art now? The racist themes? The religious themes? Any old crap from Ken because he's incapable of holding off his appeals to the press for much more than a week? I mean just look at this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swst7QI8YfQ

Whose big idea was it to fork out the money to use that licence in order to appeal to a minor subculture & send half of the sort of people who go around looking for game trailers into fits of rage? (Even if it is hilarious. The rage, not the video. The video's awful.)

@fredyellowone 'freaks' - don't pretend that you're not emotionally invested in what people say in an immaterial place dedicated to information about fictional interactive entertainment.

Anyways I don't see the relevance of your comment to mine, just seems like you're having a rant with no direction.

@fredyellowone Someone still can't grasp the difference between developers & publishers.

@Hurvl - Whatever happened to Dark Millennium anyways? Last I heard THQ was contradicting itself over its MMO status & even whether it was still in development or not. Did another company buy it when their franchises were auctioned off?

And I imagine that it would play a lot like one of Games Workshop's tabletop games (dunno which, would depend on the size of your force), which is great for me because I haven't been involved it the hobby for a couple of years now thanks to time/uni/apathy.

@Suikogaiden There is no way to respond to this kind of sheer ignorance; I can only say is that I'm worried about the number of people agreeing with it. Can someone please tell me that it's sarcasm?

I'd like to see another one of these:

"Eddie Makuch on why 'misleading' article titles are important."

@ElfShotTheFood What I don't get is why they limit themselves to the locations shown in the films in the first place. There must be loads of other planets which have had it established in the novels/Clone Wars/etc that large battles have happened on (only seen the films so I don't actually know if there are, but it's a reasonable assumption). It's sci-fi, why would you want to recycle the same locations when you can create something new & interesting?
