@dtshakuras @Greyskin1 YES! Exactly! Also, the main problem is that i don't think a lot of people are willing to buy a console that essentially forces them to only play kid's games for the next 5-6 years. Would I buy some nintendo games if they were for other platforms? Yes, of course! They look charming and fun (that's why i bought little big planet when it came out). Am i willing to ONLY play nintendo games for 5-6 years? Hellz no!

@Vegamyster Yeah, it's not necessarily a bad thing, or the worst case scenario is that Vegamyster misspoke. While basing a game around a new idea is wonderful...i just can't get excited after seeing Mario's face everywhere. It's like when stores play christmas music starting in October, and by the time December rolls around you're just sick of it. I wasn't aware that Bayonetta was from Nintendo, but i knew that W101 was (and it actually was a game that interested me). The problem is that in general, there aren't that many games like that. To me, Nintendo seems like a kid's console. While i'm sure that the games are fun...haven't games evolved to something more than that? If we were to compare it to movies, Nintendo seems to be the equivalent to Pixar. Pixar movies are fun and great...but at the same time, as an adult, you wanna watch stuff like Blood Diamond too.

Now, I also had an N64 while growing up, but can anybody explain to me the appeal of playing Mario, Zelda, Metroid Prime and any possible derivative of that for so many years? That's my biggest problem with Nintendo...their games are just...the same (or at least that's what it seems like). Like...Smash Bros and Zelda are cool and all, but...why not come out with something new? Is it all just nostalgia? I'm not trying to start an argument, I'm just asking because i seriously don't get it.

@thesilverape @jimdove2 I've been wondering about this argument lately (not trying to start a fight btw, just a conversation). A lot of people say this when talking about PC's...but let's not forget that they've gone down in price considerably. You could buy a pretty solid PC for $800, and I think it would still have about the same life span of a console, plus all of the functionality. The only thing that you can't get with PC are the console exclusives (although in return, there are plenty of PC exclusives). I dunno...any thoughts?

Wow, so it seems like both ps4 and xbone got some good and some really bad ones. Too bad, i was hoping that this game would be fun. It seems like just any other launch...despite all the flame wars. Also, congrats to people who got their new systems...i'm jealous of you.

@lucfonzy @Greyskin1 @bluefox755 @MetalGearX1 Yeah, like...with the whole GTAV thing...I have to say that I have seriously disagreed with Carolyn in the past, and to some extent I think that she's overreacting...however I don't think she'd mind if I said it politely. I guess it sure beats death threats...

@lucfonzy @Greyskin1 @bluefox755 @MetalGearX1 Haha! does it really feel good? I have to say, that in my experience, I've felt much more rewarded from a polite debate (such as we are doing now) rather than swearing at people. When it gets to that point, i just feel angry, not good. I guess people are different though...
