All the people saying this makes Sega look bad, are you being serious? It's just a worse version of Sonic 2 with HD graphics! I'm fairly certain nobody wanted Sonic 4 to be a remake of Sonic 2 with prettier graphics. Sega has already re-released classic Sonic games multiple times. If you want to play Sonic 2 again go play one of the many re-releases Sega has done. HD graphics really doesn't add much to the game, especially when the original Sonic 2 actually plays a lot better.

Agreed. Don;t get me wrong the fan remix demo plays fine, but really the constant enemy placement is just aggravating. I don't remember the classic Sonic games having THIS many enemies and always causing me to lose my rings. >:V

Yes it's challenging. That's a good thing. The demo of this game is pretty much exactly what many Sonic fans want.

Like many other people on this thread I don't know what is more sad about this: 1. That 2 people can make a game that is better than every other Sonic game made in the past 15 years. or 2. The fact that Sega can somehow remain in business despite their incredibly unskilled development teams.

Cooking Mama on the Wii. I regreted it about 2 minutes after the purchase. My wife said she wanted it and she played for a grand total of about 30 seconds.

The answer is Doom. Anyone who answers this differently probably wasn'tgaming when Doom was at it's peek. Goldeneye would probably be my number 2 followed by Half Life.

I know this is System Wars, but at the very least let someone else have their own opinion when there's no need to judge it. He never brought forward another point to counter. You may not think it's an RPG, but then your not the holy grail of video game ****fication either. Considering the people who actually do ****fy the genres do say it's an Action RPG, I'll go with that. The arguments against it being an RPG usually boil down to the combat being a TPS. At that point The Witcher might as well not be an RPG, because the combat probably has even less depth. If you're going to make a point of saying a game is not an RPG why not mention the numerous mentions of various FF games. Good luck with that ;).

I love Mass Effect, I loved Mass Effect 2... but to say they are the same "type" of game is preposterous. There is about as much "role-playing" in ME2 as there is in BioShock. Its a shooter with RPG elements. Nothing more.

The game is identified as an RPG by virtually everyone including Bioware. Here:http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/rpg/masseffect2workingtitle/index.html

See on the left there "Action Role Playing". It's an RPG. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

...by the way ME2 is nothing like Bioshock. Is there a map or a way to quickly move from one place to another? No. Are there countless places that you can go which are totally outside the realm of the story line? No. Can you unlock additional playable characters in Bioshock? Negative. Are there subplots with those additional characters? No additional characters.

I don't know if you guys ever heard about it, but there is an RPG, and MMORPG to be specific, that is called "Real Life" which I guess is simply amazing.

Overrated. It would only get high A low AA here at Gamespot.

Mass Effect 2.SaltyMeatballs
I think I'm going to agree with this. Both Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 were truely epic.

Can someone please explain to me why Nintendo has not developed an achievement system yet? Ok so it's not a big thing but it is defiantly a disadvantage to the Wii. I have all three consoles and honestly when it comes to a multiplats the only real question I ask myself is do I want the trophies or achievement points more. Does anyone else think that the lack of achievements on the Wii is a big disadvantage? Is Nintendo ever going to address that problem?

[QUOTE="HuusAsking"]

[QUOTE="JonSnow777"]

[QUOTE="HuusAsking"]So out of the hundreds of PC titles that come out in a given generation, how many generate the same level of sales. I'd say you're proving rather than disproving my point. Furthermore, PC games don't seem to get the same level of media attention as the consoles (unless it's of course bad news like an MMO-induced death).

That's because not as many people are into PC gaming, due to the fact that it takes more knowledge of computers and a larger budget to obtain and maintain a good gaming computer, whereas consoles are cheap one-shots that you just plug in and play. But the people who take the time to understand and invest in PC gaming understand that the platform offers so much more than any of the home consoles could ever hope to.

Okay, but that makes the PC a hobbyist's platform more than a casual platform, and that limits your audience, and sales (and profits) are usually best with a large audience.

Tell that to World of Warcraft. What are they at now 10 million+ active users?

Seriously why even have the poll? This is a blatant attempt to hate on Sony.
