All the Halo games have had a terrible story, I doubt Reach will break that tradition

It will have good gameplay and Maps

The weapons will probably be interesting

Forge needs to be at least 500 times better then Halo 3's forge in order to be decent

What is the story about exactly? I'm curious.

Still waiting.

I agree 100% with what he said. I played thru Halo 3 and was dumb founded by how bad it was. It kept switching between characters and never got interesting. It was just boring. If you want to see a good story check out Mass Effect 1 or 2 or Heavy Rain or well...something else.

Think about it SMG2 and MGS4 are the best games this gen.Which one do u think u had the most fun with. Which You think is better they both got 10.0.

G=G

M=M

S=S

4>2

SMG and MGS balance each other out, but MGS4 beats SMG2 by a factor of 2.

That's pretty good. :)

MGS4 was increadibly boring so I'm going to go with SMG2. MGS2 did not deserve a 10. It got it because of sheer fanboism by the writers.

this.... like i said, mgs4 and gta4 are in another league. HD games that took years of work to craft or super mario sd galaxay 1.5? throw in some yoshi and a few different puzzels from smg1 and it gets a AAAA? Rockstar hand modeled all of New York city. Kojima filled a blueray to the brim bringing in some of the most impressive cutscenes seamlessly transitioning to gameplay , the best around and it's story had me hooked. The amount of work and precsion craftmanship and dev time that went into the both mgs4 and gta4 is staggering.

Midnightshade29

First off half of what you said was wrong but lets not go there. The amount of dev time and precsion craftmanship put into a game does not make it more fun. It makes it more expensive, sure, but not more fun. Only fanboys rate games based off the amount of money was thrown at them.

I agree. MGS4 was rather horrible imho. I beat the game but I almost fell asleep about 10 times thru the cut sceens. It's such a same because the game was fantastic. GTA4 didn't even deserve AAAA status.

You can always tell a thread that is truthful yet really ticks off the fan-boys. It always goes 10+ pages.

Again he is correct. Hardcores will buy it first. Just not the one's talking on this site right now. I, for one, will buy one on day one. The reason why is because I havea 5 year old. He will love it. I'm definatly a hardcore gamer but I would buy it for my kids.

That is a true statement. Day 1 sales are always hardcore gamers. Heck most casuals/non gamersdon't even know the thing exsists on day 1.

[QUOTE="HuusAsking"]But it's a slightly disturbing trend. It means Nintendo is becoming a cliché. Nintendo's being identified with its signature characters and game style, and vice versa. It's going to become increasingly difficult to separate the two as time passes.IronBass

It's already (and it has been for a long time) impossible to separate Nintendo from Mario. I'm not sure I understand what's disturbing with identifying a company with its mascot, especially when that mascot is gaming's best known character.

Yes I'm sure Sony and Microsoft would love to have that particular "problem".
