I can only think of one; $ony.
- Removed OtherOS
- Removed BC so they can charge their customers $40 to play games they already own in HD.

MS removed the headset, from my arcade, 360 fans told me all 360's came with head sets out of the box, when I got mine there was no head set. I was expecting a dirty play from them so I wasn't really suprised.
Removal of BC PS2 was to lower the cost of the PS3, and the Other OS function was to prevent piracy because of that fool geohot.
It's not like Sony removed them randomly.
Don't you just love when a thread backfires? :PMicrosoft removed the whole "working" feature from like 1/3 of its launch XBox 360s...
:P

That's not a "feature" though, that's an accessory.Microsoft removed the HD cables in the Elite model. Mine came with only the R/W/Y cords.

thats not a feature, its an accessory Exactly, you can still purchase that separately and be completely fine. You cannot get any BC or other OS functionality within PS3s now; those are inherent features that were lost.[QUOTE="TehNubTuber"]

Everyone's going to vote Microsoft, sad. Removing a headset is not removing a feature. It's funny how defensive Sony fanboys are. Whenever you say anything about Sony, they get all butthurt and defensive LOL.
FIipMode
Did you even see the poll results?
Um, yes. People are voting Microsoft even though they never took away any features. Sony fanboys gett butthurt over everything.

Did you buy the PS3 at launch when it was $600 and didn't even have a decent game? Now that's expensive.
MS has removed features from its console but at the same time has added some. Sony has not added any features but has removed more features than MS.
TC I think if you asked which console maker has removed the most features you would see better results.
The ps3 is still the only console that can cook eggs isn't that an added feature.MS has removed features from its console but at the same time has added some. Sony has not added any features but has removed more features than MS.

Yes I did, funny, when it's the PS3 high AA exclusives are not any good, but now with the 360's lack of exclusives even games like crackdown are amazing.. You guys and your double standards, how the tables have turned.[QUOTE="1kryptic"][QUOTE="TehNubTuber"] Just buy a PS2... It's probably cheaper then MS's accessories :lol:TehNubTuber

Nah, the 360 can scaramble an egg too.
But, the PS3 can grill steaks...

If you own a PS3, you would know they have added plenty of features. They just added some last week.
But what has Microsoft taken away? Sony took away BC, so what has Microsoft taken away?

Trophies? In game xmb?...Just throwing that out there.[QUOTE="NoirLamia"]That's not a "feature" though, that's an accessory.Microsoft removed the HD cables in the Elite model. Mine came with only the R/W/Y cords.

True, my mistake.
It was still something I was really disappointed about, I don't understand why they removed that accessory.

And alot of the fat PS3's get the YLOD as well. And also, I guess enough Xbox360's worked because they're not in last place.
but that epidemic is nowhere, and i mean NOWHERE near as big as the RROD. I'm willing to put the RROD epidemic above the DRE's from the ps2 just because m$ knew about it.[QUOTE="1kryptic"][QUOTE="TehNubTuber"] Just buy a PS2... It's probably cheaper then MS's accessories :lol:TehNubTuber

Although technically the working feature would be RROD itself, and the slim model may or may not have removed it.

Didn't you hear? They took all features away from 1/3 of 360 sold :PWell, they didn't have to take away BC compatibility and reduce the price of their console by half to get it to sell, just throwing that out their. And where'ed you get 1/3 from?
