i put my money on late 2011
dont listen to the people who bash WoW. World of Warcraft is the best mmorpg made to this date (im hoping star wars will rock but we'll see). WoW is a buttload of fun to play, especially at the beginning. The best times i've ever had in a videogame have been when i was starting out in that game. This was years ago and I still play. It gets a little repetitive once you're at level cap, doing the same raids every eek, but Blizzard puts out the content patches just before you're ready to quit every time, just as you fill out your character with the latest set of gear. Prepare to be addicted.
However, i did always want to try Age of Conan. I heard it wasn't so great but i'm sure its a preference thing.
buy forza 2 right now. Don't even hesitate. i bought it a little while ago for 12 dollars. It's a great game. I started out with all the little assists they have turned on, STS, ABS, TCS, the racing line that tells you when to brake, all that stuff makes it easy to get in to. After a few races you can turn off the racing line and some of the controls or even change the AI difficulty. Now I play without any of those things and it's still a lot of fun. It doesn't take long to learn and if you want it to be a=easy forever you can just leave it that way. You can even turn damage and fuel/tire wear off. It's the best racer you can buy and its cheap as hell.
such a bad game. So many better, more fun shooters out there. the multiplayer is the same thing every single time. Then you get the kids who are like "OH MY GOD DID YOU SEE ME STICK THAT GUY? IM SO AMAZING WITH THE GRAV HAMMER LOLZ." Its just so linear, none of the objective gams are fun and slayer variations get old. Its only fun if youre screwing around in it.
They should call it... the personal computer and give it an operating system called windows and make programs other than games for it.
