lol we got long way to come..... sony has a 10 year plany for the ps3 so by 2014-2016 their might be new playstation,,,,, and since microsoft and sony is rivals they cant bring new one out and think it will be able keep up with a ps4 5 year newer software/hardware... reason 2 price..... building a new software/hardware takes a lot money and time... so only 4-5 years for 360 on market is not near enough time to make a good profit off of u be fine trust me u will get a good 4+ years out of the system before a new xbox or playstation hits the market.. their might be a new wii before but i wont be even close beating the xbox and ps3 in software/hardware.....
That ain't happening. Rumor is Nintendo is gonna be first out the gates with nex gen. (wow a nex gen that can compete with current gen, good going Nintendo) PS3 wont have a replacement any time soon. (there going to milk it like the PS2) As for Xbox they should get this generation proper before dabbling in new tech. Or if they do make another system a Xbox 360 2.0 its gotta be smaller with slightly better internals and 100% quality improvement. I'd trade in my box to buy it as long as it stayed at there current price point.
you're all telling him couple years ( which i think as well ), he'll go buy it, and e3 will come around and microsoft will reveal new xbox.

Microsoft will piss off 30 million Xbox owners if they did it. Of course I wouldn't be suprised because they don't give a crap about the consumers. Short life for Xbox 1 and the RROD/E74 for Xbox 360 have proven that.
Yeah, this is what most analysts have said mainly due to the cost of a new system and the economic situation going on right now. I would hedge my bets on 2012 so you have a few years at least.
They need to make more money for them to make a new xbox. I betcha they barely started on teh new one, if they even started. Honestly, what else can they do to make the 360 better? I doubt graphics will get that much better, and it has all the features we could use.
well even if microsoft announces something at E3, its still gonna be at least a year and a half after the announcment until they release the actual system itself.
