Ok, so to stop the thought that gamers are all immature losers, lets turn this gaming website into a complete sob story about gamers being immature and angry for the foreseeable future... This whole debacle wasn't so much spurned on by the fact that everyone was angry about the GTA V review, I think it was more about who reviewed it and the actual comments that were made about the game from that viewpoint. There is one thing to talk about the game, the graphics, the story and so on, but when a game is reviewed and a large bullet point for that review is something that is not really a driving factor in video games mostly because of the audience, that is when there is outrage. I don't think Gamespot has to review its TOS or come down with the mod hammer, I think it has to review the people writing these articles and making these video's. It's not a new generation of gamers since these problems are not overly prevalent on any other gaming websites I am aware of.
I think I was more amazed by the fact that GTA IV got a 10 and GTA V was given a 9 based on the fact that it was "Politically muddled and profoundly misogynistic".. I know it is different reviewers and they have different views, but GTA V is the few good things that were good in GTA IV and boat loads more. Also the fact that misogyny in GTA is even a problem baffles me. Fine, your uncomfortable, but every GTA game has been like this. Previous ones barely even had mention of a female character other than a hooker you pick up. GTA V has female characters who speak and contribute to the story, in a game like this you can only expect so much because the majority of players don't want or need any more. I'm sure the majority of players are playing GTA V to run around blowing shit up and having fun rather than getting reading the dialogue and speaking to female characters. If they want that they can go play the sims or something...
Please people, stop buying Madden games... We all know they suck and have sucked for the past 10 years now. They keep churning out the same garbage, calling them anniversary editions or throwback editions and all that we get is recycled gameplay with the smallest of tweaks.
Stop buying the Madden games and maybe they will give up the damn stranglehold on the license and then some actual competition will come in to the market and force them to release a better product.
If anyone has downloaded and played the demo, they will realize how ridiculous the hitting is in NHL 14. In the demo you can just pass a guy and he goes flying into the boards. It's a little bit much.
Also, this new fighting mechanic is pretty stupid too. I hit Lucic into the boards with Toews I think and then Iginla comes out of no where and drops the gloves. Lucic got right back up after the hit, wouldn't it make more sense for Lucic to get up and drop them? I don't think Iginla has gotten in a fight in like 5 years. lol
Again, this is all just based on the demo, which might have these changes amped up a little more than the actual game, but even if they are amped up, I prefer the more realistic play of the previous games.
The only reason the F2P model works and people pay so much money is the majority of people don't understand the point in video games anymore. Its to have fun and learn while getting to where you want to be. Not to shell out a crapload of money to get to where you want to be and not know what the hell you are doing once you get there. This is all in regard to MMO F2P's though. The majority of this video was pointed towards apps and other garbage which is even more ridiculous to spend real money on so I won't even acknowledge those doorknobs...

Thats the dumbest looking "handheld" I've ever seen. There are some tablets on the market that are more portable than that thing... Way to go Nintendo. Stop remixing current hardware and start making some new and real systems...
What happened to the days when they made new systems along with the others and were a major player? Anyone remember when the N64 was on the rise? Get back to those days Nintendo, it would give your fans something to actually buy...
