GTA Online - Announcement Trailer
GTA Online is a persistent multiplayer open world game, full of excitement and adventure at every turn. Hold up a bank, steal a new ride, or jump out of a plane, it's all up to you. What path will you take?
The Future Of Gaming I just had this brilliant and exciting idea...an open world game with so many developers that it can expand while you play...ENDLESSLY! I think a lot of kids would take a training to achieve this! So exciting! How do you think about this? Ideas? Let me know...
This'll be great for griefing. Imagine Sniping a group of people as they try to do a base jump? They're get so mad it'd be hilarious.
Will GTA V Online work, because GTA IV always says disconnected returning to single player all of a sudden.
Could definitely be a hit. I'm mostly a single player campaign guy, but might try this out. I probably wouldn't play it until after the first patch releases though. It will surely have a ton of bugs and glitches upon release.
If this works, this will be game of the generation. And, with the whole paying to play if next gen, why upgrade when a game like this or dark souls 2 has yet to be releases?
@BarraKas i meant people who play team deathmatch in freemode by killing player when they are trying perhaps a stunt jump or other things .
I just don't get the hype. Don't get me wrong, it's not that any of it looks bad, but it sure as hell isn't innovative. All the things mentioned can be done in other games as well. Why are people so hyped?
honestly don't see the appeal of it.. or any multiplayer game.. i buy games for the single player experience first, and foremost.. if i do buy GTA5 at a some point in the future when i'm done having hours, and hours fun with the insanely, over the top Saint's Row 4. i guaranty i'll ignore the online part, like i did for GTA 4 outside of 1 or 2 times I tried GTA 4 online and didn't like it much.
Breathe in... and out.... right. This will be the last 360 game I buy. I've been finishing some of the 2 year old games I still had shrink wrapped. Red Dead is finally getting completed! I want nothing in the back of my mind when this arrives in September.
It's a shame the graphics in the video are clearly PC based as the consoles will look nowhere near that good and will have rubbish draw distances to keep the frame rate stable. But. If this works how it looks it should then it will be one of the best multiplayers around. Like Battlfield took a chill pill. From what I saw though I'm most excited about the RPG elements. As long as they are in single player that will be amazing. The garage especially and the ability to buy vehicles. I can just imagine getting bored and trying to ram a fire truck into the garage. Although I have a feeling garaging cars will have some form of interface now to deal with the purchasing system. No more leaving a trashed car sideways in a garage only to find it pristine and straightened out when the door opens again. Or will it?
If they can pull this off. ( and I'm guessing they will.) That's gonna be quite an achievement. And a helluva lot of fun for us console gamers.
gonna sound dumb but gotta ask, is this a stand alone game or be apart of GTA V, thx for any feedback.. looks great by the way, can't wait.
This game just keeps looking better and better. Only problem I have is that I haven't had a Live subscription in years. I'm not going to get one just for one game either. Looks like I won't be playing multiplayer until this is released for PC.
@mokalid Actually, Australia did let through.
@JayJayeleven Yup. Can`t wait for this.
@DeathProofDelta Among the adults players of idiots and morons isn't less, than among children. Playing in online, sometimes it seems like a lot more.
@lildozer74 getting this for my 360 (more family and friends on 360).
@Jawehawk-DK Because, you can do all the things you can do in other games, in THIS ONE game, online with friends. This game is the reason I'm not getting Virtua Tennis, Payday 2, Gran Turismo 6, or Arma 3.
@thekazumalord See Im totally the opposite of that, I loved SR2 coop campaign, and thought that the series just got childish after that game
@thekazumalord i was the same way. it looks cool, and you definitely get your money's worth, but i am a die hard single player fella myself too. I can see your point. and i will probably do the same thing, but this is definitely a day one purchase for me. so few games these days are good single player (dark/demon souls, the last of us) so i really hope rockstar dosent go all "call of duty" on us by crapping on the single player experience just for multiplayer.
@MJS88 According to Rockstar the last video reveal of the story campaign was captured on PS3. There have been no announcements of a PC version as of yet.
Why would it be an IF, it's GOING TO HAPPEN!
The big part is how it's on current gen....AMAZING!!
@brokenapples it's not coming out on next gen
@brokenapples BUY IT NEXT MONTH!!, are you mad to wait?!!!
@Micra-IRL- It's not stand alone, it will be with the game, but it wont be available to play until Oct the 1st ,R* will release a patch by then which after you will play the game.
R* said that there will be a counter within the game so you can know when the patch is coming out :P.
@j_kizi yup, i already called the big brother corp to come in and fill my spot to my siblings. i will be non-existant.
@Shouoken4Peace I hear ya, but no way those are console graphics. It's not the best looking game ever, but it looks too good to be current gen.
