I just started up Demon's Souls again even though I have like 5 other games I haven't even touched yet. It's just an all around great game and has so many different possibilities to it. Just don't play Dark Souls after Demons Souls. I really didn't like the way they changed the way everything worked from Demon's to Dark Souls...

So from what I can remember, EA's stranglehold on the NFL market is up at the end of this year, meaning their exclusive contract is up and the NFL license is up in the air. I did some researching and can't find any news on the subject so I assume they didn't sign any sort of extension. I for one have never liked Madden games after playing the 2K football games. Before my fat PS3 died I still played my copy of 2K5 all the time. I also have All-Pro 2K8, but its just not the same without a franchise mode. I loved drafting and doing the combine on 2K5.

So anyone know anything on the matter or read anything in the last little while? All I can find are old, random articles written by nobody blogs making up a bunch of garbage. I'd love to get some actual facts. Especially after reading the most recent Madden review. If 2K were to get the rights come the new year and release a late game after the new year I'd definitely buy it. lol

Diablo 3 was released today and for 2 player co-op adventure you'll not find any better.

It's massive and a joy to play with a friend. You can even add more friends online.

10/10 for local co-op.

Diablo 3 has local co-op on the PS3? I didn't know that! I never bought the game for the PC because they seemingly blew it huge with the entire game, but non indie games with local co-op are so hard to come by these days.

[QUOTE="Stinger78"]I find it difficult to trust a "gender analysis" from someone who made the decision to change their gender for whatever reason.MrSelf-Destruct

A douchebag using a douchebag to agree with a douchebag? Yo dawg...

Lol. Ok, I'll listen to someone who without a doubt lived at least their first 18 years life as a man and then changed that to live the rest of their life as a woman write an editorial about gender analysis in a video game. Would you want to hear about why a cat chases mice from a cow? It's just backwards thinking. Call me sexist, call it whatever you want, but a man, born a man, and a woman, born a woman, who writes an article about gender analysis at least has a background in that analysis having lived their entire life as that gender. They have a vast well of knowledge about the hardships or advantages from their own experiences and struggles throughout their entire life. They also have a definite point of view on the subject. In this case, we have a writer who has experienced the complete opposite type of life and has a wildly different point of view on gender than most others. I'm not saying its invalid, just that I don't beleive the proper background is present in order to make a credible statement about the subject.

Thanks for your analysis though. In this case, I guess you are the expert about douchebags. You seem to think very deeply about them.

No games of interest for me :/

Again, UK PS+ gets a better haul next month... I'd take the Jak and Daxter Trilogy over everything coming out for the US.

Demon's Souls is leaps and bounds better than Dark Souls. I have beaten Demon's Souls like 4 times while only beat Dark Souls once and traded it in. Demon's Souls is hard to the point of being challenging while I found Dark Souls to be hard to the point of being near impossible. You play Demon's Souls and it is fun to play and die when you die. I felt in Dark Souls they make it more that they want you to die at every new occurence putting you in near impossible situations so that you have to die and come back to it again. I also greatly disliked how they changed the magic in Dark Souls. It was nearly useless to be a caster in any form in Dark Souls while it was one of the best classes to be in Demon Souls. So the moral of this whole story is; download Demon's Souls, have fun and don't even think about Dark Souls because in my opinion it was a great step backwards in gameplay.
