@Albelnox0 Uh, what? Do you realise how crazy and bitter you sound? No I didn't, and I'm not on Team Nintendo either. I don't own any handheld console, or any consoles at all right now. However, I could buy two XBox 360s and still have change from the money Sony wants for one Vita.
This is not smart of Sony. The price is too high and still has a hidden cost in the memory card. I am interested in the Vita in order to play AC:Liberation and a couple of other titles, but I would not consider buying a Vita new at the present retail rate. I would buy 2nd hand, because there are lots of dissatisfied customers selling their barely-used units at a more reasonable price.
I also doubt how 'exclusive' any titles are likely to be, given Sony's poor hold on the market. Therefore I will not jump in for the one title that's anywhere close to swaying me right now, because I doubt that AC:Liberation will remain Vita-only. I don't think Sony can possibly have made Ubisoft a good enough offer, and strongly suspect there will be a console/PC release early next year.
@CallMeDuraSouka But then, isn't it okay to have one or two games that do explore these aspects? Other shooting games will try to define themselves in contrast to their competitors, and that's how Far Cry 3's design has emerged. Should there be too many Far Cry 3-ish games in the future, I expect you'll see a glut of dumb fun shooters to fill out the market.
Obviously sooner or later things become redundant and they simply die while the rest of the culture moves on, but they usually die for a reason.
@Sergeant_ Yeah, same here. I bought the GTX280 in 2008, and I don't have any problems playing this generation's games on high settings at 1920x1200. Only now that the 600 series is here and DX11 is getting better support am I beginning to think about replacing it, and really I can take my time over that until the new consoles appear.
This card has served me very well, and I'll give it to someone else to enjoy after I've replaced it.
@cthumann I like both things, and I think the review is well cut to cover both things. I'm impressed they managed to do that without spoiling any story. They show a hell of a lot of gameplay here, so you couldn't really be in any doubt as to how the game plays.
@Virtual_Skill No, it's not wrong. She wanted to make these changes to her body, and what she's doing doesn't hurt anyone. You, on the other hand, approve of bullying in a case like this, which does have the potential to hurt other people.
@Warfighter_971 Illiterate, and as we see below by your 'Like' of the next post's misguided sentiments, homophobic? The ladies must be so glad to have so many catches like yourself among the heterosexual dating pool.
@Gelugon_baat I can't see that anywhere, but I'm extremely tired so maybe I'm being stupid! It's a long time since I played it, but I think Max Payne 2 had her die in the normal ending, and live in the ending on the most extreme difficulty setting. I imagine it says in the third game somewhere, but I'm waiting for the PC edition.
@Dante200X I don't think it's just down to Steam policy. No digital sales are counted in official industry monitoring, from Green Man Gaming through to EA's Origin: only retail boxed sales on the high street. It suits the biggest games companies for it to be that, since it prevents indie games having any presence on the chart at all, and cuts down competition on the gaming news sites for headline stories too.
The biggest games companies decide which games should be the most successful, and lo and behold they are, with no surprises or interruptions. Investor confidence stays strong when industry predictions appear to be solid.
