Hopefully Toad Howard and Bethe$da will give credit at these awards where it is due to all those hard working modders who've put in countless hours of their time to make their (ever worsening) games better for everyone but I wouldn't be holding my breath.....
@Act_Chill @DecapitatedOrc I thought Warriors of the North was more or less as good as the other ones in terms of gameplay, but what made it worse was that it was far more buggy. I would often get the game just exiting to Windows, usually after playing for several hours at a time. Mind you, I probably liked Legend the most as you could create and name your own character, rather than having to play set characters.
I'm a fan of the King's Bounty series so will most likely be splurging out on this one in the near future. Agree though that this should be the last game in the series and that it's high time they develop a new engine. Does anyone else who plays the King's Bounty games find that those small, highly detailed graphics strain the eyes quite a bit? My eyes get pretty sore after pulling a few consecutive hours playing the game.....!
@streamline @DecapitatedOrc Yeah, thanks for letting me know anyway. It didn't look terribly enlightening from the few minutes I did actually watch of it! :-D
Gamespot - for those of us living in countries with slower connections, could you please consider publishing text-only versions of these articles instead of long streaming videos all the time? Tks.
@Xenro4 @buttslamify @DecapitatedOrc No, probably not. The game will most likely be developed mostly as a fast 1st/3rd person actioner with little backstory with the next-gen consoles foremost in the minds of the developers, and the PC almost as an afterthought.....! However, the new Dragon Age Inquisition game looks pretty damn good so far and it seems they've taken the criticism of the previous Dragon Age game to heart, so let's hope they do the same thing with the new Mass Effect title as a lot of people were not happy with ME3.
