@Greyfox-101: Wow - those animations in the BF4 clip are really impressive, and certainly better than anything in Dragon Age Inquisition or Mass Effect Andromeda. I did read somewhere though that Bioware don't use motion capture in their games because the player's character's face can be customised and this would present issues with some of the cut scenes. Still, does that excuse the shoddy facial animations which seem to be worse than those in any of the previous Mass Effect games.....?
@Welverin: Well, apparently the game is not looking as polished as it should be at this stage, according to the most recent video on Gamespot. This means that there will in all likelihood be a number of patches needed for the game to be more playable, so maybe it might make sense to wait a few weeks before buying it.....!
@Welverin: Yeah, I enjoyed the first 3 ME games, but I would need a bit more incentive to pre-order this one at the current crazy prices, like more bonus stuff thrown in or a price reduction. Maybe I might still give in and place that pre-order, though.....
It looks good, but the price is putting me off pre-ordering. I don't know how it is in the USA, but here in South Africa, just the standard edition of ME:A costs more than twice as much as the ME3 collector's edition costed to pre-order around 5 years ago. With the current price, what incentive is there to pre-order, given that it sounds like they will need to patch the game heavily on release? A multiplayer booster pack (I don't play multiplayer), a gold skin for the Nomad, and a new suit of armour? Big deal!
@Bigjoe275: Me too. Unless they drop the price to incentivize pre-ordering, I just can't justify the risk of pre-ordering at the current steep price just to get some DLC armour and a custom Nomad skin. Whoop bloody whoop. As good as the game looks, it is doubtless going to be aimed at the console kids once again, with multiplayer and dumbed down gameplay top of the agenda. As it is, I'll wait for release day and user reviews on Metacritic, I think.....
@guitarist1980: Agreed - the game optimization was not the greatest - remember how horribly the game would bog down during bigger battles? Also can't understand why the game takes up so much disk space - I have the 2 White March expansions and the game is even bigger than Dragon Age Inquisition at 36.9gb!
