@buttslamify @DecapitatedOrc Yeah, I also missed that planet-based exploration they had in the first one with that all-terrain vehicle (was it called the Mako?) you drove all over the place. I agree with you, though - each of the ME games, while great in its own right, managed to improve on its predecessor while becoming worse in other aspects. ME1 had nice RPG elements while having an iffy combat system. ME2 improved the combat while dumbing down the RPG elements, and ME3 improved the combat further at even more expense to the RPG bit. I also agree that ME2 was the best of the three, though maybe a bit too easy. A meld of all three would be nice, maybe with some new ship-to-ship combat thrown in too!

Let's hopefully see the RPG elements of the game being brought back to the fore again. All characters should have attributes (like strength etc) and skills, and everyone should be able to mix and match ALL of their equipment at will. Let's see buying and selling of equipment too. How about the protagonist being a Han Solo smuggler-type character with his/her own ship which can be upgraded or even exchanged as the game progresses?

@aovannor @DecapitatedOrc Yeah, you're probably right there. Maybe they should give players the option to turn automatic healing after combat on or off in the gameplay settings?

@aovannor On the contrary, no automatic health regen after fights is great news! It means that they are moving back towards a traditional RPG style of gameplay as opposed to a fantasy action game. Those screenshots look awesome otherwise. Roll on late 2014!

Hmmm......if you're the head of the Inquisition, I assume this won't be the case at the start of the game and that you'll have to work your way up the ranks first. Otherwise, how do you explain a level 1 wimpy character heading up a powerful organisation like this?

@Michael83917 @DecapitatedOrc Really? I've watched the trailer 2 or 3 times and it sounds different. I'll take your word for it though :-)

@Michael83917 Agreed - I didn't like Morrigan's new look either, or Varric's for that matter. And it sounds like Morrigan has a different voice actor as well.....bummer!

@MoronGotMyName @DecapitatedOrc Agreed!Maybe you should cut and paste this thread onto an email and send it to the movie writers.....maybe they'll be so utterly impressed with our wit and originality that they'll send a few $ our way.....!
