GTAV on PC is going to happen eventually, I can't even believe that this is still a topic of debate.

as for a next-gen version? Why? That doesn't fit rockstars pattern at all.

Whereas every GTA game (aside from the handheld versions) have been released on PC.

another Deus Ex would be cool... but I'd MUCH rather see the new Hitman.

ESPECIALLY if it's only on next-gen, because I'm tired of cross-gen games... they just hold back the potential.

What i'd like to see in the division: Scale: I'd like to be able to open doors to any building, any window to a building, if its locked being able to bust it down e.t.c. and being able to explore any building (detail: what is in that apartment/building, can I interact with anything in it). On top of gameplay this is the one thing I would like to see in a game like this.

Call me crazy, but rather than Fallout 4, I think id prefer PS4 ports of 3, NV and Skyrim in a single compilation with higher res, better framerate and old bugs ironed out.

There is no chance The Division will look like that upon release.

How about a true online Monopoly game? The classic one and not those 'don't fix what's not broken' versions.

Don't care. E3 is such a Mountain Dew, Doritos, and IGN-fest that I don't take it seriously anymore. All of the games are pre-rendered on PC, advertised as in-game footage, and sold looking like absolute garbage, even on the PC platform because consoles can't handle games for some odd reason. Between advertisements for DLC for games that haven't been announced yet, 8 special edition versions of one game, pre-order nonsense and constant lies; E3 is the biggest waste of time. The only good it does is bring a few million dollars to Los Angeles, fills up hotels and restaurants. They don't for one second focus on the art, just the "gamer lifestyle" which is a pathetic joke.

Battlefront game footage, not just a CGI trailer.

Do we really need HD ports of games already released last gen? Seems like a waste of resources to me. How about giving me something new to sink my teeth into.

Black and white 3! Microsoft said they wanted to support PC gaming more and they've done nothing with the IP since they bought lionhead

Thanks to Square Enix, we won't see another GOOD Final Fantasy game until hell freezes over. Still bummed about the Division coming in 2015 but I'm looking very forward to seeing stuff of Fallout 4, Destiny and The Crew.

Screw Ubi i say. Enough of false advertising and hype a game and deliver a console port. Have much better faith in EA as got some free games On the House. Only thing i hope EA would lower the ridiculous DLC price for Mass Effect 3. I seriously like to buy them. Dragon Age Inquisition will be pre-ordered on Origins. You deliver a quality game you will have my money. I trust in what i've seen for DAI to warrant a pre-order. Hope you dont follow Ubi's stupidity for false advertising and hype.

I just wish to see new franchise, new ideas.

No more same old shooters...or car games, at this point, they just look boring and more of the same stuff.

So, yeah, new ideas would be awesome, new gameplay elements/features.

My most anticipated game for this year's E3 is Kingdom Hearts 3

@Noonewarrior Yeah but that's not likely :).  It could be done, but they'd have to settle for smaller environments and it seems like the style of The Division has a lot to do with the large city setting, an abandoned/barren big city environment.

@cameroncr95 ehhhh - I love those games but would rather see something new, personally. I'll grant you that I was shocked at how "bad" Skyrim looked on my friend's 360 after playing it for ages on my PC, but I still don't feel like a "hi res" re-release on PS4 would be as worthwhile as something new. To each their own though!

billlabowski

@Sevenizz So...don't play the newer ones?

Oh wait, you've already played them, after you pre-ordered them. I bet you even took the day off for it.

@Noved23 Give me a PS4 version of skyrim that works with Morpheus... now THAT would be worth my time.

rockstar sold 32.5 million copies of gta v on consoles, there is no reason to make a pc version.

If you guys slowed down on your bootlegging - everything would be a simultaneous release.

Seriously. 100k Wolfenstein thefts? It's a shock anything gets released on your platform besides indi game 10 million and 1.

@Syphen_bast This is good. Problem is people are illergic to change. People get stuck into their own little world way too much. FPS fans love their FPS, RPG --> RPG, etc etc, changing up the gameplay mechanics for those people is like blasphemy and the devs know it. Means any changes that occur will be slow. Probably so slow that we won't know they've happened until we go back and play one of the old school games and be like "Man I'd forgotten how old this was!".

@Reuwsaat @VenkmanPHD ...The stories games were released on PSP and eventually PORTED to PS2...

That's part of why I said, not handheld games.

@Pikdum Watch dogs from E3 two years ago was confirmed to be running on PC. Compare the two now on PC. Its the whole vertical slice argument again. They will fine tune and polish a small segment of the game to show off what they hope the game will be like when released. But then reality catches up with them and they have to scale back.

VenkmanPHD

@billlabowski How about no? The last thing we need taking up showtime is some rehashed (for the 8 milltionth time) version of a mildly amusing board game from what... the 60s?

Yeah, no thanks. The world needs to move on and stop trying to squish board games into video games. Just like they need to quit squishing video games into movies.

There are times and places for each medium.

@JimmeyBurrows @Noved23 PCs cannot even reliably emulate PS3 and 360, so don't hold your breath waiting for a console-based emulator.

I don't mind HD ports.  For every bloated gaming empire like Activision or EA, there are also smaller studios where a single release can be make-or-break.  Game development is a risky business and history is littered with studios that were shuttered following one poor release.

For successful games, it's probably a low cost, high reward project for the dev.  And it helps pave the road to greater console adoption.  There are people who see no need to upgrade when they can still play older versions of Halo, COD and GTA on their last-gen systems.  Bringing those favorites to the next gen--with better graphics, a few extras and a decent price--will encourage people to buy new hardware.

Bottom line:  creation of HD ports is NOT taking resources away from new game development.  There are more programmers and graphic artists in the industry than there is work.

andreei6000
andreei6000

@Sevenizz thats because in 3rd world countries people cant afford to pay 60$ for a game lol.

Sevenizz
Sevenizz

That's no excuse or acceptable reason for theft. That's not how things work in the world. If you can't afford something, you shouldn't have access to it. Entertainment is not a right, it's a privilege.

VenkmanPHD

@billlabowski @VenkmanPHD @mankster123456 @cameroncr95 Yeah, nothing makes a game more fun than having to boot it up 20 differant times with differant graphic settings just to make it work.

Or having to upgrade your hardware in 4 differant ways to bypass the tweaking.

There's no "options" about it.

andreei6000
andreei6000

Yes because they buy them from black market so its cheap as hell

andreei6000

The truth is even for consoles people still pirate I know this because i used to. And oh i can afford it I got a ps4 and a 360 but GTA V for PC would be amazing with all the modding and such
