Relationships don't ruin love, lust ruins love. Many people mistake the physical feeling of lust/infatuation for love when in reality it takes a lot more than love to make any relationship to work. Love may be the beginning of a relationship but without compromise, understanding and patience no relationship stands a chance. It's love and all those things combined that get couples through the hard times that they are bound to experience. Many people expect the happy ending from the movies after the wedding and in reality, life is not like the movies.

Start by telling her that you like spending time with her.

I can't believe she didn't keep it for herself. ;)

Seriously though, what kind of parent would think that 4 kids could share a handheld toy?

I understand exactly what you are saying. You are taking my post too seriously. Technically, what I said is true. Girls grow feelings for the ones they loose it to (Unless they really are a slut), but those feelings arn't really so much as love, like how you just said. But those feelings are infatuation, which can feel exactly like it really is love. To a 16 year old girl, they dont know any better, they will take it as love, and if they stay with the one they lost it too, it can grow into real love. This is how high school sweethearts start....

You are thinking too deeply into this. You are also talking like there is a minimum amount of time for you to officially call it love. You got to remember, everyone one is different, so every relationship is different. Different couples fall in love at different rates. Sometimes for the wrong reasons, but still. And you can never really tell someone if they are in love or not, the only one that would truly know whether you are in love with someone is yourself. Because love is a very relative term, like pain. Like I said earlier, if you have to ask, then you dont know. Once you are in love, or if they love you, you dont have to ask, you just know. So dont question it. And if this doesn't make sense to you, probably because I'm damn ass tired to really say what I mean.GTA_dude

Spoken like man.  16 year old girls don't know anything?  Do 16 year old boys know more than? LMAO!   The slut remark is such a sterotype and really should be abolished or at the very least used for both sexes.  Oh we wouldn't want to do that because that means all the guys would be sluts too because they haven't developed feeling for their first.  Infatuation feels nothing like love.  Believe it or not, many girls have sex without feelings involved.  That's how FB's start...

Your girlfriend loves you if you have a fight and she sticks around to work it out.

We sit at the table for all our meals.

Perhaps if you displayed better table manners  the females in your family would sit with you.  Just a thought. ;)

My sister wants me to recommend her a game or two to get for herself. She's 29. She likes Zelda, SMG, used to play SMB3 a whole bunch, enjoys puzzle games. I'm not sure how she'd feel about RPGs... I haven't been paying much of any attention to the Wii for the last year, so what should I recommend? I was thinking of recommending that Boom Blox game, but is that a good idea, and is there anything else/or a better idea? - Oh, and she already has Wii Fit.Jandurin

Does she want to get up and move?  DDR HP 1&2 are great games for getting up and moving as is Dancing with the Stars.  If she already has wiifit she's probably interested in the fitness aspect and those titles are great workouts, DDR is great for cardio.
