@grove12345 Her accent is clean though. I tree planted in northern Ontario with an Australian who spoke like he had a marshmallow in his mouth. I never got a single word he said in the 6 weeks I was there (to his defense, I'm French Canadian). From my browsing on youtube though, he was the exception. Anyway, what the hell was an aussie doing in northern Ontario planting trees!
@IanNottinghamX Developers just don't know yet how to tap properly into Xbone's power. It's a mess, but it's got power aplenty to do 1080p@60fps with nice graphics.
@FBohler I don`t believe the console power is a significant factor here. Look at the Wii's power compared to the PS3 or Xbox360. But I agree that the tablet controller was a risky bet. That`s actually what I like from Nintendo, they`re the most innovative hardware console maker. Failing is costly though.
Some people are shocked that in this day and age we still have to fight sexism and all these other things. The problem is, humans are animals and will forever be fundamentally stupid (even if capable of being very intelligent). It requires efforts to think and reason what is right or wrong, even more to discriminate between all the shades of grey. It's much easier to rely on guts' feelings. Education has to be done continually. Thanks for the video Danny.
But I'm curious to see what the new Kinect 2 will bring. I find it an impressive piece of hardware. I'm not just into the kind of games they have developed for it so far.
I think the Xbox One, even though it is less powerful graphically, will bring a gaming experience on par with the PS4. Especially when you play action games: you don't have time to look at all the details on the screen and notice the differences. And if you do, perhaps that is what you should be playing:
I completed Demon Souls three times and I loved it. I've played Dark Souls and didn't completed it. I got bored with the level grinding and lack of online players at the time I played it, but it's also a great game. I guess I didn't completed it because of that lack of online players when I was playing it and it is MUCH harder on your own than when you leverage the help of others.
I wish the game remained as unforgiving and hard most of the time, but, personally, would welcome a mechanism by which the game eases it off when you get stuck for too long. For example, it could pop additional AI allies to help you out. So that people who don't rely on any help gets all the credits, there could be additional trophies for those who complete the games with no AI help.
Ultimately, for the hard core gamers, the game would remain absolutely unchanged and tough. For weaklings like me, we could beg for summoning AI help allies at the cost of shame and disgrace (could also be a trophy ;) ).
