For a portable gaming machine driving a 720p screen (http://www.gamespot.com/articles/new-nintendo-switch-report-talks-resolution-and-to/1100-6444861/), 1 Teraflop, which is almost on par with Xbone, is pretty good. Also depends on price.
I'd love to see a VR ready PS4.5. If backward compatibility is seamless for existing games and developers, I think it could be a great move. Developers are already used to allowing tweaking of their games for PCs. This time, there would be no tweaking sliders, the game would automatically detect the hardware and provide the best experience for it.
I paid attention to aliasing and it's very well under control for the whole video on both platforms. PC is only so slightly better that I would call it a draw. What could have made a big difference is to set the PC in 4K.
@bfa1509: You may hate me for saying it, but the part where you need to say that you're generally right to give more credit to your post is when I rolled on the floor laughing.
@abcdefgabcdefgz @AnonymousSquid That's something I've been wondering about lately. If they made a high end graphics card based on some kind of ray tracing technology, what kind of resolution could they achieve? I wish I could see a comparison of say, an 800x450x60fps high quality pseudo ray-traced game to a 1920x1080x60fps high quality raster rendered one.
