Make sure your system meets the game's minimum requirements and you have the lastest drivers for your video card, etc.

If you've played any of the Battlefield games, its much like those games with a slight twist. I personally like the squad based FPS games, and I've played the BETA. The game is ok....not great or outstanding...just ok. Its pretty much like any other multiplayer FPS out there, with nothing that really makes it stand out too much.

I'm dating myself a little with this one, but the Legacy of Kain series of games I found to be a great action/adventure game series with lots of combat. Another good series is the Prince of Persia series.

I've been thinking about playing The Witcher as well....looks pretty good, but I'm not that big of an RPG gamer.

So I haven't had any problems with the game up until now. Everytime I get to the third checkpoint save in Ascension, the game freezes and eventually the game crashes. I can't proceed any further in the game because of this. I've tried killing any uneeded processes running in the background and ajusting the graphics settings and nothing seems to work.

Any suggestions?

Well they're two totally different types of games. I like both of them, but have been playing 2142 longer. I'd probably still recommend 2142 over WiC based on my experience with both games.

I don't know how I feel about this game. I always liked the more realistic graphics used in the past two games. This will be kinda like how they f-d up Zelda by making Windwaker cell-shaded.

But oh well, if the gameplay can make up for it, I'm game.

Hmmm....I know BF2 an be troublesome at times, but if you got the latest patch and drivers for your video card, you really shouldn't be having any problems.

But I guess, it could come down to what specs you have, of course.
