um, this has a lot to do with what type of game you prefer. these games are extremely different. if you love online MP FPS's, similar to BF2, then get BF2142. if you like RTS's that put added emphasis on the action/fighting, get WIC.
i wouldn't go off the BF2142 demo. i played it and also was disappointed by it but got the game anyway and grew to love the game. there's a lot more unlocks, accomplishments, good-great levels, and a cool game type in titan mode that is refreshing to play.
i've only played the beta for WIC so i can't say too much about it except that there's a lot of people that either love it or hate it. at first i hated it. i thought it was WAY too basic and had a paper-scissor-rock gameplay that just seemed to luck based to me. after readin a bunch of people keep posting about how much they loved it, i tried it some more and found that there was more strategy to it then i first thought. i'm still trying to figure out whether i should get it or not because i was pretty bad at it.
