I'm not going to read this article as my lunch-break doesn't last long enough :P But THQ are most definitely going under, I think that was fairly obvious as soon as they closed the 'kids games' studios :? Kinda sucks, but failure to adapt does that to a company.

Heh.. The list seems to be in chronological order of how much I'm looking forward to them. Resident Evil just sucks these days, they should go back to a deep dark thriller of a game, not a 3rd person shooter with hand to hand combat thrown in.. it's about as scary as a wet sponge :?

@MrOnage If that's the case then fair enough. All I know is as soon as the first guy ran under the arch he got shot from the side.. as did the next bloke.. I wasn't hating, just pointing it out :P

@ssdd_again Nah I did play the second, and the first too. I never owned the original xbox but did spent a lot of time round a friends house. The sad truth is that your completely right, the vast majority of online games do have great potential, it's just the minority which ruin it for everybody. I pretty much gave up on Call of Duty due to the folks online. Talking crap down their headsets and playing music, and then camping in the same spot over and over :? I owned the latest Ghost Recon for the PS3 and thought it was 'okay'. My only negative was that everything seemed to happen very far away. Because it was realistic no firefights took place up close. It was a little distanced and slow-paced :(

Ghost Recon's always been a bit too 'in your face' with the HUD and little flashing things. I know that might be realistic in terms of soldiers built in displays, but it could be a little less offensive on the eyes. Looks alright, but nothing worth getting truly excited for. p.s. Video 1 there are a LOT of cars :|

@Lunastra78 Couldn't agree more mate. I'm a Sony gamer through and through but everything you've said is spot on. It'll sure as hell be interesting to see where they go with the PS4, if they try too hard to push 3D then they're screwed.. because not everyone can afford 3D TV's, in fact not everyone even wants one :? I'll keep sticking by Sony, but if they ever give up on gaming then I'll probably just give up on it myself too. Microsoft and Nintendo offer some good things, but for 'hardcore' gamers Sony has much more to offer in my opinion.

Well with the lady stated to be in charge of the next Xbox it's clearly going to be something which is linked vastly with the social world.. facebook etc. judging from her previous experience. Microsoft will essentially be making a console that links to your computer, phone and anything else you'd like it to. Like one big happy family. Basically you'll be required to buy a PC not a Mac, and a Windows Phone instead of an iPhone. It's just one big clever strategy to own the world. Although expect some outlandish subscription charges and additional costs. As for Sony who knows, my guess is they'll just be focusing more on the actual experience the console offers. With a vast list of developers to produce AAA games for them they shouldn't be short of great titles, but if they do continue down the 3D route it'll be interesting to see what happens.. Because basically no-one is really that interested. There will of course be a new edition of the move though - that's a definite. As for Nintendo well yeah, couldn't agree with this article more. Aside from the tablet feature and 'catch a baseball' style gameplay I don't actually know what it can offer.. I love Nintendo to bits, but can't help feel they're falling far far behind :?
