I won't pay for Live, I won't pay for PSN, I won't pay for DLCs, and I most definitely won't pay to play people on other platforms. That said, i don't mind the idea...of course minus the paying thing.

Could be good, but it won't replace the controller.SaltyMeatballs
And this. People keep talking about how you need buttons, they forget that unlike the Move you can actually use Natal while holding your controller properly.

Not excited about it. But it does look interesting. More so than the PS Move. And I predict that it will sell much better than the Move. There's just so many things going against the move when compared to Natal.
Well, i guess i disagree. There has always been as much back tracking. By the way i have other problems with the game. Invisible walls for one, and the darn thing keeps freezing my ps3.verbalfilth
I can relate with the freezing
I had to force restart my ps3 around 5 times just because the game would completely stick when I jumped down a certain pit with a red orb chest and an upgrade chest whilst having helios' head equipped. Worked just fine when I unequipped it.
invisible walls have always been a staple in most linear games so I'm not too bothered with that.

Mine just kept freezing anywhere and everywhere. It's gotten worse after i finished the game. And the invisible walls in other games are usually not so invisible as there is usually some cleverly placed object or wall there. The level that got on my nerves the most was
The level you had to solve the echochrome-esque puzzle. There was a chest that i had missed that was right there, but i couldn't get to it and the only thing between Kratos and it was an invisible wall.

I know a lot of the fanboys who've been blinded by their excitement will disagree with me or even, perhaps, track me down and skin me alive, but having played and finished GOW 3 two times and then some already, I think Tom was actually lenient with it. I'd have given the game an 8.5. Sure, there were epic battles, but the puzzles were extremely lacking and the plot didn't have a smooth flow imo. not to mention the heavy backtracking which we didn't see much of in the previous GOW games. All in all it is a great game which is up there with other great games, but I wouldn't place it in AAA status. but that's just me.

What are you talking about? There's always been backtracking in GoW. It's not even exactly back tracking, you just keep going and you pop up in a place you've already been.

I didn't say there was no backtracking in the previous god of war games, I said we didn't see MUCH of it in the previous games. GOW3 definitely took much more liberty than the previous two. Read!
I'm thinking that God of War 3 and Heavy Rain should have switched scores.Leo-Magic

This dude is right.

God Of War just hasn't done enough new to get AAA imo.

totally agreed
