Exclusives are games that are ONLY for that system and they are the reason as to why you buy that system to begin with. If one system had exclusives and multiplats, and the other one only had multiplats, guess what system people would buy?

They would buy the first system in that scenario, it's also wise to choose the system with the most exclusves as it has the most options of games to choose from, that's why the PS2 was so successful.

Only people that don't think exclusives matter are really depressed Xbox Fanboys who are trying desperately to convince themsleves they don't want new exclusvies by lying to themselves.

Pointing this out to them get's them upset, don't get angry at me, get angry at MS instead for dumping their origional Xbox fanbase for the Kinect soccer mom crowd. Either suck it up and deal with it or buy a PS3. It's cold and it's hard, but it is the Truth, and as the Bible says "The Truth will set you Free".

If you are only going to have one system you get the one with the most games, not the most exclusives. If A has 300 games 100 which are exclusives, B Has 400 games 50 of which are exclusives and 100 of which are not on A but not what you term "exclusive", which would you get if you only could get one?

This place makes no sense. I argured and argued that calling someone illogically wasn't offensive, got modded for it a few times. Gave up fighting the good fight. Rarely visit anymore becuase of the Political correct BS and now it just looks like SW is becoming what it should have always been.

Too bad I just don't really care anymore

BO had it's high moments over MW3, but MW3 also have high points over BO

MW3 high points vs BO:

- Better/More weapon variety.

- More variety with KS.

- Much more team based, even on TDM.

- Better leveling system with weapons.

- Easier, and more efficient to pro out perks.

- Way better and more accurate hit detection.

- More rewarding with prestige this time around.

- Weapons are more balanced.

- More modes that are really good at the core.

BO high points vs MW3

- Better maps (by a wide margin).

- No quickscoping.

- Perks was more efficient (Scavenger Pro doesn't even restock grenades on MW3)

- Way better respawns.

- While both CoD are bad with lag, BO was less forgiving with exploits.

- Zombies > Spec Ops.

This is what I come up with IMHO about both games. As far as I can see, both games have their pros, and cons.

The bolded points are very clear and evident.

I guess zombies/spec ops is personal taste because spec ops blows zombies out of the water imo. haven't played MP in MW3, so can't comment on anything else

1) The real reason is I don't know. I just don't enjoy playing on a PC as much as on a console. Good recent example is Tropico 3. I tried the demo on console and liked it. I bought it for PC mostly because I couldn't find it for console, but also because it is the type of game that should play better on PC, but played it for less than an hour on PC and never touched again. I probably played the demo 5-10 hours on the console. The only games I really enjoyed on PC in the last 15-20 years are WCII and Full Throttle.

2) I prefer controllers in most genres better than mouse and keyboard (RTS being the one genre)

- I know a controller can be used on PC, but that kind of kills the whole idea that KB/M is better

3) Although you can hook up PC to TV it just isn't practical for me and probably isn't for a majority of people.

4) I know a game will work and I don't have to tinker with much

5) Use PC for work, e-mail, surfing the web. PC is for everything, consoles are really for playing games. I know that this generation has kind of changed that, especially PS3 and 360, but still the main purpose of consoles is games, where the main purpose of PC is dependent on the end user.

6) I just do. Really don't need to explain why to anyone

Most if not all PC games I am interested in are on the 360. I like a controller better than mouse nad keyboard. I own all 4 but 99.9% of my gaming is on the 360.

There are exclusives on ps3 that interest me, but I never touch it, so why spend the cash on a game I may never play.

But the real answer is - It all comes down to personal preference

[QUOTE="xhawk27"]All you Sony fanboys make me laugh. Go back to playing on Home or should I say Adtown. :D Second these Ads you have to click on them. If you don't click you don't have to watch them. :|KiZZo1

First - you know Home is optional - you don't have to install it, and if you do, you have to start it to see any ad.

Second - how can I click on something invisible. Oh, that's right, part of the ad must be visible even before I click it.

Third - bashing Sony is not at all responding to my original post, because I pointed out a number of other PC services which are supported only from your initial purchase and some are free from the get go, imagine that!

Are you a liberal politically/? Because nothing is free. Someone is paying for it somehow. You just want to get things other people pay for it seems.

[QUOTE="Skittles_McGee"]

Instead of just using a PC? Facebook? Netflix? Both are on your PC and to no real surprise are better to use on there.

"but but I wanna use teh TV and hooking a PC up to one is so inconvenient!" - Yeah sure is hard plugging that cord into the back of your PC. Whew, what a workout.

"okay smartass. But now I have to use a keyboard and mouse, thats really inconvenient!" - Actually if you're so inclined there's plenty of ways to use a controller to do... well, everything. And heck if you have a wireless keyboard now typing is actually easier than a console.

"okay but the PC costs so much more!" - Sure, initially. But your games cost less and you're not spending a dime on XBL. Say you buy 10 games brand new a year. Thats $100 saved on PC. Say you've had it for 3 years, seems reasonable. Thats $300 less in cost, plus we'll be nice and say about $150 for XBL over those 3 years. Thats $450 you didn't spend. Golly gee whiz, if you add that to the price of a 360 its... more than a PC would cost you :|

"but then you still have to buy the TV or monitor. HA!" - What, you wouldn't have to for the 360?

"Okay fine, but what about the games. Isn't that what really matters?" - Yeah, if you prefer the much smaller and more expensive selection, I guess so.

So you see. In the long run, you're just wasting money. Your games cost more. You're paying MORE to use your own internet (on top of additional fees for using things like Netflix). You're literally letting Microsoft charge you to do things you... could already do.

Oh and inb4elitism. Truth isn't elitism :)

Because I want to. Key word is I. Not what you think or anything else, but what I think. Don't need to justify my decision to you. I am sure there are things you do that I could question why, but should I?

Demon's Souls bought it around the same week it was released. Can't say I technically "regreat" the purchase, but if I could choose to spend the money on something else I would.

Yangire
Have to agree. I do technically regret it. never got what everyone thought was so great. It was ok, but couldn't get into it
