Is it just me, or did the original have a lot more voice acting? I don't remember because it is so long since I played it, but did characters say nothing when text appears, or only say a couple of words or an exclamation instead of a sentence? I'm still playing through it, but it's nowhere near as charming as the original was.

@halo1399: Yet so far I'm getting through the game without mastering much at all. Most of the combos aren't that complicated, with it just being a mix of punching and kicking. I did all the combos in the training screen, and I'm not sure which ones were actually more powerful. All I know is that whatever combo I use regularly gives me a good powerful ranged attack every few hits.

I think this is similar to Devil May Cry in that it's about chasing higher scores, but I'm not the sort of player who does that, so I will just play through and enjoy the story for what it is.

I bought this, and have been playing it for at least a few hours. I'm not really sure why it's so highly rated? I mostly just randomly hit attack buttons, occasionally using dodge if I see an incoming enemy attack. It's fun, but it's not amazing. Also, Bayonetta's interaction with the other characters is just horrible, from the mother/child nonsense to the male buffoon. I watch it because I don't want to miss the story, but I am very tempted to skip every cutscene. I still think it's a fun game, but no way is it a 10. Probably worth about 7-8. Maybe I will feel differently when I complete it.

@heqteur: I don't think the score was updated from the Wii U review, they just added the NS and a paragraph about the game. It has aged a bit, so probably isn't a 10 now, but it's still good, and other reviewers are scoring it around a 9.

I'm tempted, but I just don't know if I have the patience to complete levels if they get too tough, and in a game like this, I would really want to see it through to the end.

10 things that put me off ever getting a PC for gaming. I don't even like waiting for update files to download/install on console, so following these steps would really irritate me.

What's wrong with the xbox version? Is this just PC master race making comments, or is it really badly made.

Not having access to the dlc I can live with, but it is unacceptable to take away prestige activities. If they wanted a higher level option for dlc owners, they should have added it, rather than re-using and blocking existing content. It's not like it's difficult to implement another level of prestige raid with buffed enemies.

@Gbullet: Whilst I agree that I'd like more public matchmaking, and that it may be useful for Nightfall Strikes now that most people are 300+, having public matchmaking for the raid would be a nightmare, because it's hard enough with 1 or 2 players who don't know what to do. Trying a raid with a larger set of inexperienced players would take forever. Trials should also have a public matchmaking option, because it's just pvp multiplayer as far as I can tell, so it's just blocked content for me at the moment.

Also, I've never done the raid (just bits of it), and I have 305 on all three of my characters, and that's just from doing the flashpoints each week, plus the nightfall (using look for group). The biggest problem for me is that there's no reason to play any more. The raid and trials are inaccessible, and the other parts of the game have been done so many times I've become bored of them. I definitely don't want more "quests", as I never did many of the original ones because the rewards were rubbish.

I bought it, and I like the gameplay. I just wish they had more single player tournaments. Season is fun, but I want to play knockouts, other game types/modifiers. Not sure if it's possible to modify matches already outside of exhibition (i.e. For season mode), and I just haven't found the option?
