Just like this gen, I'll probably eventually get both, but I'll definitely get Xbox One first and it will be my primary system for multi-platform games. Though I probably will wait until next year to get Xbox One as I still have enough games in my backlog for 360, PS3, and Wii to last me all of next year and I also expect Xbox One to get a price drop within it's first year. I'll get a PS4 once it has 3 or 4 exclusive games that I'm interested in, which will probably take a few years.

I definitely think it will be a much better game than GTA4, but it will be hard to top GTA4's over-inflated score. I'm convinced that Rockstar paid review sites to give GTA4 the high scores that it received; as it definitely did not deserve it. I thought GTA4 was a step back for the series. GTA5 looks like it will move the series forward again.

No. You must live in Japan. Where I live, Xbox 360 is considered the cool console to own. The only console people sometimes give me crap about owning is the Wii U.

Aces of the Galaxy It's a Xbox Live Arcade game that plays very similar to StarFox. It's better than any StarFox game that Nintendo has made for the past 15 years.

honestly, trolling aside, i want online subscriptions to be paid.

because it puts an expectation and a standard for the company to follow through.

it's okay for the Wii U to have shit online, we're not paying anyway.

but xbox live needs to be a fun experience, otherwise people wont pay.

Well said. I also want online subscriptions to be paid. Xbox Live is an incredible online service and I don't think it would be anywhere near as great as it is if it was free. PSN has always been free and look at how mediocre it has always been. Now that they have switched to a paid subscription; they are making improvements to the service like getting better servers and finally implementing cross-game chat because if they don't make it great then people won't pay for it. I for one will gladly pay for a higher quality online service and considering that online multi-player games generally sell better on the 360 when they could instead get the PS3 version and play for free; obviously most people prefer to pay for a quality online service as well.

Xbox One. The Xbox 360 controller is already the greatest controller of all time with it's only fault being the d-pad. Now, the Xbox One controller is keeping everything that makes the 360 controller amazing and improving the d-pad. I have always hated the Playstation controllers; they are too small to hold comfortably in my hands, have horrible triggers, and the analog stick is in the wrong position. The PS4 controller definitely looks like it will be a big improvement over previous Playstation controllers with it being larger and having improved triggers, but they still have the analog stick in the wrong position.

1. Xbox 360 -Xbox Live alone makes this my favorite console. Now that I'm an adult living over 50 miles away from any of my friends, it's rare that I can get together under the same roof with friends to play video games. Thankfully with Xbox Live, I can still have a great experience playing games with my friends any time I want. Plus, the Xbox 360 has the greatest controller ever. 2. Wii -Though I'm not a huge fan of the waggle controls and how Nintendo still doesn't take online seriously; I enjoyed the games that Nintendo released for this console. I thought most of Nintendo's franchises ended up being disappointments on the Gamecube and it was great to see them make a comeback on the Wii. Plus, I love being able to buy classic games on the virtual console. 3. Xbox -This was the console that I bought most of my games on during last gen since it had the most powerful hardware and best controller. 4. PS3 -It had three really awesome exclusives (God of War, Uncharted, and The Last of Us). Everything else I bought on Xbox 360. 5. GameCube -After how awesome the N64 was, the GameCube was a disappointment to me because as I said earlier, I think that many of Nintendo's franchises had their worst iteration on Gamecube. It did have two games that I really loved though (Super Monkey Ball and Resident Evil 4). 6. PS2 -I know that many people are going to think I'm crazy for ranking the PS2 at the bottom of my list, but it only had one exclusive that appealed to me (God of War) and since it had the weakest hardware and worst controller; I wasn't interested in buying games for it if I was able to get that same game on GameCube or Xbox, which with the exception of God of War, I was able to get all of the PS2 games that I would have been interested in on GameCube or Xbox.

I'll wait since I expect that it will receive a price drop within a year to get closer to matching the PS4's price. Plus, I have enough games in my backlog and upcoming releases for console's that I already own to last me all of next year, so I'm in no rush.

I think Zelda is the type of game that is best suited to be dark and realistic, so Twilight Princess is my favorite art style. I want to feel like I'm on an epic adventure and not like I'm in a cartoon.

I have just one simple request, give me the option to not have to use any cumbersome waggle controls. The waggle controls completely ruined Donkey Kong Country Returns for me. If I'm forced to use waggle controls in Tropical Freeze then I will not be buying it.
