No, it won't affect. Just make the faster one primary I reccomend. They have to be from the same maker, ASUS-ASUS(let's say). If he had different clock speeds, it means that they are not the same.

Strongly reccomend to be EXACTLY THE SAME.

2x8600, you can get 800W for any case...550W is minimu reccomended for SLI, but have more.. :D

All i wanted to say was to warn people what a complete headache it is working out how all the components/fans etc plug into the PSU

Masterfulfish

No, it's not! I work with PCs for more ten years now, from my 6th year. If you can't complete your own PC, just give to the company to do it. You just practice on older PCs. Ckeck mine on my blog.

oh and last thing, if you're planning on buying a 2900 pro, watch out! they are ridiculously huge and mine is making wiring up even harder, so make sure you get a pretty big case

Masterfulfish

every Graphic card from 2-3 years ago is bigger than any normal. I have N6600 and yeah, I had to cut my cables and wire them long enough to reach it.

And.. Do not try to make the cables longer, it gives resistance, R gives smaller I/biggerU. And all that leads to maxing-out your PC's power, witch makes system intability and so many other(serious) errors.

I couldn't even finish te doom3 demo lolmattpunkgd

Hey...
You're all scared. How old are you? I'm nearly 18 and I finished Doom 3 and RoE, F.E.A.R. was boring. Prey was pure action, no scaring. I wasn't scared since Clive Barker's Undying. If you're scared, get a friend with you, and "play together", you play, he'll just watch you, and comment the situation.

The fear is not about watching open wounds or chest, it's psyhicaly, and it comes from bad memoriesfrom the childhood, traumas and many more things. You can overcome it if you're mentaly strong, very strong I can say.

Did anybody played Manhunt? There is a level where you have to kill Pigsy(oh that little sweat FAT F***ING PSYCHO KILLER WITH PIG-LIKE-MUTATED HEAD!!! HE CHASES YOU ARAUND WITH A CHAIN SAW) oh yeah, that's so good.

Stalker wasn't scary at all.

sorry to dissapoint you...but I'm not scared from a PC Game. :D

Network Address Translation, or simply NAT, is a router-like internet sharing.
Let's say you have a router, a PC and XBox360.

Enabling this, you'll get a stable connection on both XB and the PC.
The internet will be shared on a half of the both, and when one is off, the other has all the speed.

You'll get stable internet connection with that.

If you need help with setting up, just write on the problems, PM me.
For NAT I use Win2003 Server Enterprise edition.

I had a similar problem, it happens when the PSU is broken.
My problem was that one of my USB devices were going wrong, and i saw thah there was a short circuit between the wires.
Got of the USB, and all was right.

the power in your house, is it good? :D

Is the shut down immediatly? or after some tome?

You could have SLI. 9/10 I say.

I do not trust to cordless keyboard/mouse...

you should take 20" minimum...and play a way bigger resolution!

(well not that I have a worse monitor or PC, but...you can have a way better!)

Why everybody just keep on overclocking their CPUs?

I have Pentium 3.0 GHz w/ HT on, and it goes up to 90*C, and it continues to work normal. I have cooling fan only, some f***ing jet series, it's like a Jet engine :D

And I do not wish to overclock it.

Am I right? or i should overclock it?

If I had E6600 I wouldn't overclock it. If you lose performance or something, it wouldn't be your CPU, trust me.
