You can try installing windows again and that might fix it, but because of that CMOS checksum error, it sounds like your motherboard might be faulty. Is it a new board? If so, send it back for a replacement while you still can.

Good luck.

Ntune is garbage, get RiviaTuner.K_r_a_u_s_e_r

Riva tuner is the thing!

And you don't need to overclock your PC. Cuz I play those games on 2gbDDR1, pentium 3.0 ghz HT,N6600.

I had no such problem with my 8800GTS 320 and 162.18 driverdayaccus007

Yeah, becouse you didn't made some very big driver change. It appears with dll version, or some registry problem, don't know for sure, but guessing that.

No! codec problems appear only like rotated picture, scrathed picture, or wretching audio, no audio/video. This poblem is more than common, and it's the color settings. Most of the people i know, upgraded drivers like this problem too.

The colors are the problem? I can't see something else, cuz else the problem will be scrathced CD/DVD you know...

I Got the same color problem when I upgraded my drivers.

Just go to NVidia Control Panel, and check color settings, desktop, overlay(witch you need to reset) and all.

Set overlay to be onlu a curvefrom bottom-left corner, to top-right corner.

I hope i helped :D

Take 7900 or 8800 :)

Or for cheaper card, get some of ATI, maybe half the price, or more.

But NVidia I reccommend, for the technology that they have.Maybe ATI won't lose 5+frames on AA and AF, but NVidia Rule the Bloom/HDR. And 7900 and 8800 has the newest Pixel shading, and engines... You know the other :)

Take Quad-core, Asus Commando, 4GB DDR2 RAM, NVidia 8800(maybe 2 of them:D ), and 1KW power supply,

Other peripheral devices are your choice. I reccomend you HDD Western Digital from personal experience :D

And note that 4GB of ram will work only on 64-bit OS, in 32-bit OS oly 3GB will be addressed.

This PC now is at cost of 1000 Euros, or 1200$.
