Agreed, it is a glitch, plain and simple, and just because everyone can do it doesn't make it any less cheap. Is this just a game...yes.Will thisgame bring anything meaningful to our lives whether we win or lose...no.But it's a fungame to play and the bottom line is that the infinite ammo glitch makes the game less fun for most of us and is not the way the game is intended to be played. In a perfect world, anyone who is using it should be banned, even if they did nothing to "enable" it.

And another point, if you don't like MW2 orthink it'sa"camper fest" then good for you! There are plenty of other games out there you can play. I don't see your need to jump in on a thread that has nothing to do with the games you like. Yet the anonymity of the internet give you carte blanche to start a flame war when you know full and well none of you would start these arguements if you were face to face with the rest of us. If you want to start a "my game is better than MW2" thread...great, more power to you and I'm sure that you'll have several people for/against you in that thread. But in the meantime, GTFO this thread and find somethingmeaningfulto do.

However I had heard that this problem had been fixed, can any one else give me confirmation of this?lilfrightmare

Yes, the problem with DRM licenses has been fixed, you can migrate all of your licenses from on xbox to another if you need or want to. Here's the link to the MS page on it. As far as the transfer kit, I'm not sure if the existing one works for the 60 GB HDs, I'm still trying to find that out myself.

NBA 2K6, way way too easy to get them, got all 1000 from 1 game. Still ashamed of those points.

You can buy an adaptor to use your wireless controller on your PC, yes. It's not a cable that runs from the controller to the computer though.

I have to agree, Bioshock was one of those games that I hated to see end, because as soon as it did, I knew I wouldn't play it anymore. In general, I won't replay any game that has a significant time committment unless it is radically different the 2nd time around. There are just too many good games to play for me to be wasting my time on a game I already beat.

Do coolers or fans (not counting that damn Nyko Intercooler) really help to prevent the Red Ring of Death?

Daniel-138

It depends. Anything that keeps the 360 from getting so hot inside could prevent it from RRODing out. However, a lot of those fans they sell barely put out any airflow at all so they really don't help much. If you can find one that pushes a lot of air, then yeah, it should help.

I went to every system, checked every planet and think I found everything, but I might have missed something here or there. It took me about 40 hours of game time to do so. So it isn't the longest game, but it does have some replayability with the fact you can increase the difficulty, get yourself to a higher level, and choose a different play style and dialog options the 2nd time through. I never did that because I was getting a lot of disc read errors (bad 360), but would have liked to. If you expect it to eat up Oblivion type time, you'll be disappointed, but you can play it for a good long while. Plus there's a little DL content now.

The only thing I can think of if it isn't the card is that you recovered your GT on another console and haven't recoved it back to your console. If this isn't the case, then I'd take the advice of everyone else and take the card back!

MS will cover the console for 1 year if it breaks as long as you didn't do the breaking. After that, the only thing they cover is the RROD, which they cover for 2 more years (3 total). It seems to take anywhere from 2 weeks to a month from failure to replacement to get your console back if you go through MS' repair service, but they'll compensate your lost Live time with a card for a month of Live.

The nice thing about replacement plans is that you get a new console right then and there. The bad part is if you buy anything on Live, the license is tied to that console and your gamertag. If you happen to replace your console with that replacement plan, you'll need to connected to Live to play any of your games, etc. With the MS repair service, they let you reestablish your licences on everything you bought to the repaired console. With the warranty MS puts on the 360, if you're patient, I wouldn't get the replacement plan. The newer consoles break less and the warranty is free. Good luck on whatever you choose.

OK, so my 360 broke, but insteas od the RROD, I got one red light on the bottom right of the ring. I'm pretty sure that means I don't recieve the 3 years warranty. So instead of paying the $140 dollars or whatever for repairs, I'm thinking I will just buy a new arcade system. Will their be a porblem with my DLC?dahomedizzle2

I got the 3 red lights and am thinking about selling my repaired 360 when I get it and getting an Arcade. You can use your HD on another 360 and as long as you're connected you Live and use the gamertag you used when you originally downloaded everything, you'll be able to use your DLC with no problems. If you're not connected to Live and/or you use a different gamertag to play, your DLC will not work and any games you have will revert to demos. This usually isn't a big deal if you're the only one using the console, but if you have multiple people using your DLC, it could be a problem.
