@billythebastard: I sorta agree but in this situation I can appreciate it. The unjustified aggression in synconiam's comment warranted such a response. If you're going to belittle someone's intellect on any level you should make well sure you're not being an idiot yourself.
@Barighm: Correct, my friend as a programmer gets paid several times more than a game developer at only 1/10th the actual work. Consequently the job is boring.
@warmblur: I've found that FarCry 5 itself, not so much the expansions because I've never played any of them, and do not feel I can have any sort of viable opinion, has received a lot of unwarranted flak. It was a very enjoyable game. However, if the expansions are as they have been commonly depicted in public opinion, I can see why it might have dampened any faith some people might have in another installment based on the same core game.
@riptal: He never said he thought FC5 was shit. Nor even hinted to anything being sub par outside of the actual expansions, which is a pretty common opinion. He doesn't seem like someone that would be afraid to say "Far Cry 5 is shit" if he actually thought Far Cry 5 was shit. Just saying.
I honestly suggest you engage people for more details on their opinions before you have an uninformed, knee jerk reaction. It will help you better establish your own opinions in debate. Ask questions, ask them to reiterate, and hold aggression until it is necessary.
@riptal: So as long as a company is trying to make money they are irreproachable and can do no wrong? Also are fans not allowed to hold said companies to some sort of standard after they've established customer interests; their fanfare, their time, themselves, and their money?
