@cainetao11:

You: Its too long since the original post. You're taking what I said in this post and not posting the context I was answering when I called you "tough guy" but ok, you do you.

Me: How am I not replying in context? I literally take your replies and put them in my own reply.

You: You want people to read statistics? LMAO there's a world of statistics that shows no guns makes not many mass shootings.

Me: And they tend to be misconstrued and false, all in an attempt to manipulate soft minds. There’s a reason the statistics are on our side, and there’s a reason that most Americans (even a lot of people on the left) are pro-second amendment. It is the single largest losing argument for the establishment left, and it always will be, because they’re flat out wrong.

You: I am a legal AR/handgun owner. I'd turn them in tomorrow in order to save children's lives. The only thing I would be bothered by is the cost of purchasing I was out. I don't need them to feel like a badass and don't pretend there aren't a lot of AR owners that own them for that purpose. My battle buddies tell me about family members that act like that.

Me: Then why not just go give ‘em up? Nothing is stopping you. You could recoup some of your monetary loss and feel morally superior all at once, win/win. Also, you’re right, there a plenty of people that like to own guns to feel like a badass, I’ve known them too and they’re idiotic. However, the amount of responsible gun owners in this country outnumber irresponsible tards by literally tens of millions.

Also, shut up about your damn battle buddies, they don’t further your point.

You: Its time to have some backbone. The KKK are reprehensible bigots but they let people know where they stand with them at least. If you wont do ANYTHING to save children's lives at this point of our mass shooting epidemic just own it. YOUR KIDS DONT MATTER MY GUNS DO. Have some integrity.

Me: What a hero.

@N30F3N1X: It gets annoying doesn't it? Arguing with a leftist about guns is like yelling at a damn wall... and I'm partly liberal. It's fucking irritating as all hell.

@toast_burner: Yes it would, that's why the amendment exists. Also because of personal self-protection against criminals. If you don't want to protect yourself from potential attacks, go for it. Don't take away other people's natural right to self-protection because a very small amount of tragedies occur from time to time.

@LJS9502_basic: Correct. That's my point. Turn teachers into professionals, hence the training. Security fills the gaps.

@bigfootpart2: PBS and NPR are notoriously left wing, so that's false. It's publicly funded too, which makes it even worse. It SHOULD be impartial, but it isn't. I don't mind bias, as long as you let people know. I respect Fox and MSNBC (even though I don't like them) more than CNN because they're fairly open about their biases, whereas CNN pretends to be objective and is heavily left leaning.

Also, getting news from a foreign source is a good idea. Get a right wing (American) perspective, get a left wing (American) perspective, and then get a foreign perspective. Where the stories match up is probably true. Where they diverge, that's probably propaganda or opinion of some sort.
