@nintendoboy16: Don't see a problem with this. Seems more geared toward preventing a disturbance to normal school day activities. That said, if the students are so adamant about protesting then 3 days of suspension isn't a huge consequence to face. Remember that people throughout history have put their lives on the line for what they believe in. I guess this will determine who actually believes in these protests and what they stand for, and who just wants to virtue signal.

Also... three days off school? Not a bad trade for standing for what you believe in.

The whole thing was a propaganda push... but that doesn't surprise me much. Every time these shootings happen the MSM doesn't even wait for the bodies to cool before they start pushing their agenda. It's gross, using this community and their raw emotions to push an agenda, but such is the world we live in.

Keep in mind that censorship isn't nearly as effective as it once was. There is simply too much information out there for anyone to get their hands on. The best course of action is to dilute the information and manipulate, and it works.

@mighty-lu-bu: I read that same article earlier today and it's a fucking disgrace. Good guys with guns stop bad guys, but cowards with guns clearly don't, regardless of a badge. The assistant coach that sacrificed his life, using himself as a human shield, would have been better served with a firearm than this officer.

This entire horrible event is clearly the result of a psychopath, as he did the killing, but it could have be dealt with properly if the people hired to protect actually... you know... protected.

I screw around with RPG Maker from time to time. I tend to just make stories and never really get around to finishing them though.

@france38:

You: I really want to be sure of my sentence before I post, I take the time I need to make it without 50 mistakes. I check several websites like Google Translate (be carefull with it), Linguee (very good website) or directly English grammar websites. Or I type my sentence on Google, and if there is no suggestion it's because my sentence is probably wrong. In class (I'm a student), I don't want to give a report to a teacher if I know I can do better. It's exactly the same here, I don't post until I think I can't correct me anymore. ;)

Me: That’s a fantastic attitude. Keep at it and don’t stop moving forward, ever.

@LJS9502_basic: You: As a country we don't do it PERIOD. We just whine.....the right...when it happens again and people call for restrictions. Maybe it is time to change that amendment.

Me: So, would people who already own guns be grandfathered in, to keep their guns, or are we talking a full ban and mandatory buy back or confiscation?

@JimB: I wouldn't say they're better, but they are certainly better equipped to deal with violence than teachers here.

@drunk_pi:

You: PBS and NPR tend to be factual in their reporting and tend to be reliable sources of information. As for the claim that they're "notoriously left wing," well just because they say something that triggers you, maybe you shouldn't be so offended when they tell the truth.

Me: Trigger? Do you even know what that means? It means over-reacting to a situation, not stating that you disagree. Also, I know all about NPR and PBS, I used to be an avid progressive and listened to and watched them all the time. They have some good stuff on there, sure, but as far as their political leanings go, their bias is clear to anyone outside of the left-wing echo chamber. Which is fine, but they aren’t honest about their biases. Also, they’re tax payer funded (partially), so they should be more balanced.
