@dashaka: The quests are actually pretty dull. And I think it gets worse when you go to Mexico with all the emptiness of the world while your riding your horse. It picked back up near the end though with some nice moments.

It's far from the prefect game many call it out to be though.

It would be better for Lara to face large tombs and have skill based climbing and jumping.

I’d take those over story based consequences in a tomb raider game any day.

Maybe I just always preferred Tomb Raider over these new Tombcharted games.

I think repetition might get the better of me with this title. Even though the combat looks meaty and enemies react well to each hit, I can see a lot of fighting the same looking dudes for a long time.

Will hold out on this for a while I think. Graphics look lovely though.

@RaveNRolla: Even "only cosmetic" items affect some gamers gameplay, because they want it - it's in the game. If it's not desirable, publishers wouldn't be able to sell it, and if it is desirable, then it's an integral part of the game.

If you don't think cosmetic items are integral, well there are entire games based around creating your characters look so.
