If you people want a GOOD free anti virus software get Rising Sun free anti virus (google it). AVG has sadly become bloatware with way too many false flags these days. Rising Sun is effective, and has a tiny footprint on your systems resources. Avoid Norton and Macafee at all costs. If you want to pay for a suite, get Kaspersky or Nod32.
