@jeremyalexander: But they key point I'm making is the three should be 3 installable products on PC. just like all previous CoD releases on Steam were SP + MP (seperate) so one could install and uninstall either as it pleased.

To have all three modes (plus Special Ops) as one entity has just been a giant cluster**** for PC gamers.

Haven’t watched the video but the main thing I would change is to split up Warzone, SP campaign and normal MP modes so we don’t have to face far too regular 30-60gb updates and 180gb installs.

Never played Warzone, finished the SP, yet the game still takes up massive amounts of space on my sdd and I don’t want to hammer my internet every time I try to play the standard mp.

Why can't the game be split, as other COD games are on Steam, with MP, SP and Warzone having 3 separate packages that the player can choose to install or delete.

Given the chance I would uninstall the SP game as I'm done with it, and maybe install Warzone at a later date.

As it is, every time I get a chance to get on, I am greeted with a 30-60gb update through Blizzards godawful launcher.

And even then when that's updated, I boot up the game, and there's ANOTHER update once in the game, THEN I have to wait for shaders to optimise across all three modes before I can actually play the game.

The last 3 times I have booted up the game to play (don't have that much free time) I have ended up playing "Download COD" instead of actually playing it.

It's ridiculous.

@nomadski69: I don't know that it's all that strange. Gamers on the internet so often act like the worst kind of people when they think they aren't getting what they want, and I think developers should be free to make the games they want to make.

Plus, it's been twelve years since the cliff hanger at the end of Episode 2, so any frustration or ill will I felt towards Valve I got over a decade ago.

You said a part of you enjoys "seeing gamers reactions to the idea that their wants aren't the most important thing driving the development of this game".

I think that's a strange thing to take enjoyment from, and you repeatedly post replies in this thread revelling in gamers being butthurt.

This is meant to be a gaming website isn't it?

Those expressing disappointment aren't "entitled" as you have said - they are fans who have been waiting for 2 decades now for their favourite franchise to be finished, and Valve come out with a VR project.

Any comments regarding a dislike for this is not 'entitlement', its fair criticism.

BTW I have a VR Vive Pro, so I'll be playing it. But the whole move is a bit cynical from Valve IMO.

You enjoy strange things.

One of the most underrated moments of gaming is the helmet cam reveal of the flood...right before you encounter them yourself. Anyone who played Halo back in the day will remember this moment very, very well.
