Piracy sucks, it is a sad fact that pretty much every industry faces and it's a problem that is not going anywhere any time soon. I think that as legitimate pc gamers we are being screwed over because so many people do pirate. Developers see, whether true or not, that they will lose money developing games for pc, so we miss out on good games that we should be playing.
I don't like the argument that pirates will pirate only and never pay for a game if they could not pirate it. Some people will still not buy it and some will, simple. One can't think in absolutes in this situation. So in theory without piracy game sales may increase. They may also decrese, per those who say they pirate to "try the game out." Point is, we will never know unless there is no piracy, and since that is not gonna happen we just have to live with what we have. We will get some high end pc games, but we will also miss out on some big series because of it.
Shift 2 is pretty good, rFactor is awesome, so is iracing. I think Shift 2 is a great middle of the road title, great graphics, tons of cars, can be pretty racy, loads of tracks, high quality from the folks who are making Project Cars. Get a wheel and you'll enjoy it.
And to think that Project CARS will own that visually is pretty awesome. I'll be getting both when they come out and a new wheel setup as well. I've enjoyed rfactor for years and it is pretty great to see what the mod community comes up with.
Worth it? I played the demo before but it was almost unplayable with my old card. Is the game worth getting? Fun? I mostly enjoy singleplayer shooters with story and atmosphere.

Its worth it but not to much replay value. Well it is the cost of my lunch everyday so that's not bad comparatively speaking.

lol your making yourself look like a hypocrite, your just renforcing what he said. 360 guy get's beat up becasue he comparison shopped for XBL but when Hermits do it they get a free pass, you don't see the hypocrisey in that?
I never bashed the guy and if he got xbox live for cheaper than good on him, he's smart. As a gamer it's a good idea to find as many deals as possible, because this can be an expensive hobby.
