Amazing. And for some reason a few other incredibly impressive PC racing games are coming soon.
Project Cars (wow, seen this one? very cool)
GTR3
Desire to fire up GT5 ever again ... gone.

And to think that Project CARS will own that visually is pretty awesome. I'll be getting both when they come out and a new wheel setup as well. I've enjoyed rfactor for years and it is pretty great to see what the mod community comes up with.
[QUOTE="ShadowDeathX"][QUOTE="meetroid8"] except Japanese-developed games. But everything else, yeah the PC wins everything.GhoXPlatinum  , I wish Japanese devs would just port to PC, don't see how it could hurt. Just get a PS3 if you like Japanese games. The library of good games is probably worth the investment. lol jrpgs

Actually 40 fps isn't bad.
You're comparing apples and oranges. PC race sims bet everything on realism and require a wheel to be enjoyable and can be forcused on mods while console sims are more arcade-oriented, don't require a wheel and pack a ton of content "out of the box". I think I like oranges better :P
That said, Project Cars looks promising (also due to scalable realism levels).
PC racing is much better than console racing, that's for sure. millerlight89
Even when those games are played on a keyboard? Eww :P

That's why you use other controller options :?Controller? YUK! Them games will be great with my Logitech G25 driving wheel....Sorry. I know you meant controllers as in different types. But, the mere mention of controller (as in gamepad) for driving games sounds terrible to me.

A racing wheel is a for of a controller. You use it to control the game. I didn't say gamepad. If you knew what I meant, then your whole post was pointless. That's why you use other controller options :?[QUOTE="millerlight89"][QUOTE="nameless12345"]

Arcade racers and some semi-realistic ones are enjoyable on a gamepad.
I haven't played a realistic racing game in 5+ years, might try Project Cars for the hell of it. I've always preferred less serious racers with more interesting tracks like Trackmania, Burnout Paradise and Hydro Thunder.
