I'm currently playing it and it's a lot of fun. Sure, the graphics could have been better, but, once you get through the first few chapters, and can then start to level up weapons and Ray himself the game really picks up. There's loads of cheesy dialogue "EAT MY BALLISTICS" being my fav so far. The game doesn't take itself too seriously which is refreshing.
Maybe the conspiracy theorists ought to import the game or wait for it to come to there region before they whine about it.
Nintendo has shown us it's more interested in rereleasing Super Mario Sunshine.

Since they're rereleasing the Gamecube games I would think Mario Sunshine would be on the list.
Change the record please. What exactly was you looking to get from the conference? Do you think they won't be able to bring new games out because of this? Isn't it good that first time Nintendo buyers can experience the cream of last gen?
