Here are my results. All settings high with 8xaa, 16xAF @ 1280x1024

Game is pretty optimised. I will post a pic later of my results on my better pc. For now I get 40FPS with all settings on high, no AA and 1280x1200 res, on a Q6600,4gigs ram, 2600XT rig.
BTW did you guys try the different drawning styles? They look pretty decent.
They don't really change much. I like the ink the best because it seems to have a nice drawing style to it. I feel sorry for anyone who plays this on low with the background setting on low. All it does is just remove the background and puts you into this blue cube:lol:Game is pretty optimised. I will post a pic later of my results on my better pc. Haha I didn't try it on low, but I liked the water paint/colouring what ever it's called, they mostly change the border around the characters from what I've noticed.
Nice, I think I might get my hands on a good arcade stick and pick this one up.
1920x1080, 4xAA. All detail settings (shadows and everything) are set to their highest:
Tried 16xQ first, which averaged ~61 fps. Doesn't look much better than 4xAA at this resolution.
why cant other developers optimize their pc games like capcom? man anyone that pirates this game is filthy thief.SamiRDuran
6Kb? is this even real?Marka1700
What browser are you using?
The proper download is 397MB. Just tried it again, and the link is working fine.
IE6, just getting page cannot be displayed now. I'll tyr it again later.Marka1700It's also available now on gamespot japan
Anyway, I'm gonna see if I can hook up a larger monitor to see how my PC performse at resolutions higher than 1280x1024. I'd also love to see some mid range performance.

great work by capcom I have to say, I hope RE5 on the Pc runs just as great, everything set to max and v-synch off (althrough playing with it off would be stupid, the drops from 80fps to 40fps in some places are very noticable, v-synch on on the other hand keept a steady frame rate of around 60fps)
Runs excellent! I have a C but to be honest my FPS is stable with no noticable drops so im not entirely sure why i have such a low score! i could optimise better anyhow if i so chose, disabling background tasks and updating would help. Game runs better than i thought to be fair and with hindsight this could work on the PC.
[QUOTE="Arsuz"]Turn off Vsync guys. I caps your FPS to 60, which of course is pathetic! ;)CHRION987
the human eye cant even discern more than 60 fps so whats it matter beyond that?
False, but he was obviously kidding about 60 fps being pathetic. Gains in perceived smoothness of movement start to drop off heavily past 45 fps or so. Side-by-side, however, it's pretty easy to tell the difference between 60 fps and, say, 100 fps.

meh depends on the person
I was running CoH on my old pc at something like 25fps at a good day and I didn't notice any difrence betwen it or the 60fps my old games were running at
realy, I have no feel for something like this, anything that runs at over 20fps is playable for me and if the game doesn't spell it out for me I won't know if it is running at 20, 40 or 100
but I do notice sudden fps drops, like in this benchmark from 80fps to 40
This game is not going to work online, you have possible lag coupled with the fact that people may not be running it correctly. I wish you luck and im going to benchmark my PC but i think i will stick to playing it on my PS3. jwsoul
Not necessarily..if Capcom hosts dedicated servers, or allows users to, then there will be zero issue with people "not running the game correctly." The gamestate will take place on an independent machine, so low framerates on one client will not cause hitching on the other.
It'd actually make alot of sense to go the "L4D route" and allow users to open a lobby, get situated, and then browse for available user-hosted dedicated servers for the match to take place on.
Actually, NOT going with dedicated servers looks supremely stupid now that I think about it; mainly because cheating would be child's play if they went with non-dedicated servers. Hopefully Capcom doesn't disappoint.

But this is a benchmark, you will get the most accurate results without v-sync.lol loosen up on the 16xQAA. That'l improve your results.Better this time with Higher settings! Not entirely sure why but i have noticed in some games actually dropping setting can hinder a computer that should be cable of running at higher settings. I have the same thing with Stalker.

Yeah well said, i have not really thought about this enough i admit. If this Benchmark is anything to go by and if Dedicated servers are available i maybe owning to copies of Street Fighter 4.
To the guy above yeah 16QQa is high but look at the 1st page of this Topic! I have lower settings and worst results, in my 1st test i had Soft Shadow Low and Shadow Quality Low, in the B ranked Benchmark everything is maxed.

Yeah, in side-by-side comparisons, or, like you said, sudden changes in framerate, it's very easy to notice a difference.
The biggest indication of framerate for me is actually how the input feels. Just viewing a video feed it's a bit hard for me to determine framerate, but when I'm playing a game, control inputs feel much more natural and responsive at high framerates. I can guess the framerate pretty accurately just by turning a few times in-game and looking at how smooth on-screen motion is.
Any News on a full demo being released for the PC version?I would really like to try this all in motion.jwsoul
Capcom hasn't been stingy with the PC demos (Lost Planet got one, DMC4 got one, RE5 is probably going to get one), but we'll see.
