@Cowbie: I'm doing Anti-SJW-Crusading? WTF? Do you even know what you are writing about? How is pointing out the flaws in Mass Effect Andromeda Anti-SJW-Crusading ... and what does that even mean in this context!?!?

@rezagtx2017: No it isn't ... the world is not building at all on the rich world building of ME 1-3. Story and Dialogues are laughable and have in most cases no real consequences at all. The combat ist more like in a very bad shooter than in a roleplaying game. You cannot give your squadmates any instructions beside stay there or fight. You are constantly forced to use that stupid vehicle ... because radiation, cold, whatever. The input lag is atrocious. The jumping is bad and overused. The puzzles are not very clever. The facial animations are horrible. The story is boring and you can see the big twist that the evil aliens are transformed members of other spaces coming from the three galaxis' away ... And I probably missed tons of of other things.

So no, Andromeda is not great ... ME 1 to 3 were great but they managed to bury it six feet under with a single new game. By Franchise. It was nice knowing you.

@zanza86: Either I do not understand what you mean or you do not understand what I meant. Anyway ... your comment is particularly meaningless.

Well ... that's bullshit. Of course everyone would like to do, what they like to do. But lets face it folks. 99,9% of the population work in jobs where they got even a lot less freedom and creative leeway as in game design. So when a game is really, really successful and people really really would tear the sequel out of the hands of the publisher there is no goddamn reason at all not to programm it. I mean ... yes ... franchise fatique and all that ... but we are not taking about a game a year per franchise (hello Ubisoft, hello EA). It has been six frilling years and they could now at least START to work on the thing, could'nt they?

I think in fact they probably just want to milk the ESO cashcow for as long as possible and somehow reason that people would hold of playing ESO, if they already knew that a new real Elder Scrolls VI is in the making. Something like that probably.

@Klop_Job:Actually I found it much better than the dreadful Season 2. I couldn't manage to finish season 2 and entirely lost interest after episode 3. Most characters in season 2 were complitely unlikeable and the story with this compound was ridicolous. The gameplay consisted of clicking on everything and dreadful sneaking and exploration sequences.

In Season 3 the story and the characters are interesting. It is really great to see how Clementine has evolved and changed. True ... the episodes are rather short, but I cherish short episodes compared to endless sneaking around and the plot will only continue after you have found every clickable element in a scene and touched it at least once.

BTW They do this again in a horrible way in Guardians of the Galaxy which completly breaks up storytelling and immersion. Did't manage to play through the 1. Episode.

If it helps ... my personal order of Telltale Games in descending Order: Wolf - Batman - Borderlands - Walking Dead 3 - Walking Dead 1 - Game of Thrones (because nothing you did really mattered) - Walking Dead 2 - and last AND least Guardians.

If they are so confident they would release a demo for PC or allow reviews before street day.

I played the demo for PS4 and even that is shit. Don't get me wrong. I like the story and the setting, but the graphics look like something from early PS3 days and yet something is completly wrong with the controls. You can't aim properly if your life depended on it ... he, wait a minute ... it is a horror/actionshooter game and your life depends on it ... ;) I mean it was bad enough that Emilie in Dishonored 2 controlled like a cow skating on ice but at least you fought with a sword, so you didn't need to aim sooo exactly ... but in this game? The enemies are dancing (flickering) around even more and I do NOT want to play the entire game with the sodding wrench.

But they will fix it ... immediatly ... like with Dishonored 2, where the controls on console are not fixed half a year after release ... yeah sure.

Yes, I will not preoder and yes it is a shame if such an interesting looking game will fall flat on its face because of sodding controls ... guess in space nobody can hear you scream, when you are cursing at your controller again.

@OmegaGear: I doubt that that is the ONE MAIN reason. Other games are also made of thousands of files and don't need five minutes to load. If this would be the problem than you could actually solve it completly by installing a SSD in your PS4 but that reduces load times in most games by 10-30%, so it can't be the seek times that make loading in some games so unbearable long - for me in Bloodborne the greatest punishment in dying wasn't the loss of souls, but staring endlessly at the load screen ... ;)

That is pretty ridicolous and can only be bad programming. Maybe the stupid programm takes so long to unpack textures and organise its memory. The HD of the PS4 could, at its current speed, load up the entire memory with data about 4 times over in this time. So something seems to be going very wrong here ...

@computernoises: Nobody likes a grammar nazi ... especially since many people here are non-native english speakers. So keep your wise ass attitude for the school or when teaching your son/daughter English.
