We actually tried the full on insanity with tons of these sets (taking only generic sets that you can combine to quite large settings) and spent as whole group about 800,-- € on them. It turned out, during the course of a year, that many intricate and complicated floorplans are still impossible to build in this way and setting up each battle takes frilling ages.

We then settled on the ready made battlemaps included in adventures and buyable seperate maps, or printed out maps and for big, complicated scenes that you cannot represent otherwise, we used a HUGE erasable battle map and just drew the scene with markers on it. This works like a charm.

So if you want to go the way of the above descriped sets, you better should own a big house with much storage space, maybe an own gaming cellar with one or threelarge tabels to set them up prematurely and tons of money. They are not practical at all, but they do look friggin awesome!

I would gladly buy a PS5 just to play enhanched updates of several old and new favourites. On top of my list would be Cyberpunk 2077. Man, I would love to play that game from the start on the PS 5. Alas, here in good old Europe it looks pretty grim for getting a PS 5 on the launch date of November 19 or shortly thereafter.

There was no preorder offer vom Sony for longtime customers, the first bunch of preorders was bought out by scalpers in about 10 seconds, which now sell Playstations they don't even own yet for 1.000,-- € or something on Ebay and Willhaben. And there is no way to reserve a PS 5 anywhere. So frill it!!!

Sorted then. I wont buy an Xbox, and I wont buy their awfully overpriced gamepass. I will buy me a nice PS 5 and play some cool exclusives, and for everthing else there is Steam or Epic or whatever.

Since you can no longer activate Norton at all without giving them your credit card details and accept auto-renewal they can go and stuff their bloatware wherever they want, but not on my PC. Yeah of course, I could give them my banking details, then deactivate the auto-renewal just before it strikes, buy a new discounted code somewhere, make a new account and start the procedure for another year, but that is just a few flaming hoops to much they want me to jump through to use their software.

P.S. A once satisfied Norton User ... yeah they exist ... existed.

Yeah ... big news. Of course this stuff increases exponentially every few years and if enough years pass the amount of increase in data volume, processor speed, graphics power or whatever is truly staggering.

For example my first homecomputer the C64 had roughly 38 KB of free RAM. With a datasette you sometimes waited about 20 - 30 minutes for a huge game to load. With my current internet connection of 250 Mbit which equals roughly 31 Mbyte per second you could fill the entire memory of 1.000 Commodore C64s in roughly 1,2 seconds. Talk about mindblowing ...

Of course it is not technically possible but the same is true for the above example.

I found that V-Wars sucked, but I liked October Faction. It started to develop just nicely in the last few episodes and I would have liked to see in which direction the show would take the source material from the comics (because it clearly deveated from them).

Yeah, I hope they put a spin to the storyline with the synths. It started all good and well with Mass Effect, but it is getting out of control invading every scifi-Universe whatsoever.

Also in Star Trek alone all three currently runing series go with the "Artifical Intelligence bad, wants to erradicate all biological life" tagline. In Star Trek Discovery the AI of the Section 31 goes rogue and wants to eliminate all biological life in the galaxy. In Orville (Star Trek spoof but still) the artifical race of the Keylon are the new big bad and now Picard seems to go done the same road. It all starts to be a bit samey with the AIs. Some new ideas, maybe?

Now that FF 7 Remake was delayed they were afraid of Square Enix and pushed their own game as far away as possible ...

Just kidding, but it would have been nicer, if they just would have delayed it for a month or two ... well more time with Nioh 2, FF 7 and Last of Us 2.
