@tre_selor: Would you please give us a link saying it would? Googling it, only thing I see is polygon and digitalspy saying only microsd is your only option. And 'won't support external harddrives.

There is only 1 usb port on that dock though. Some are saying 2, I just haven't found the other yet. 'Hopefully' it supports external hard drives. If not at launch, sometime.

@tre_selor: Wrong. That was the original 2001 ipod models. In 02, you could get up to 20gb. And in 03, 40gb. Now in 05', 30gb was the minimum on a basic ipod. 80gb the maximum.

@Dragon_Nexus: PCI ssd would fit inside this thing easy. They're really small, and super quick. Though they are more expensive than regular harddrives and ssds.

@Dragon_Irons: The originals did. But the 'new' 3ds and 3ds xl, nope! Ain't that pathetic? I'm almost certain the ds-i didn't either.

@Stiler: Bingo. He didn't give one definitive answer or anything. Even at 249, I'm betting they're still making money. I could see someone spending 299$. But my god their marketing and research team, in America, is pathetic! Almost nonexistent. There isn't any reason they couldn't pack something in with the system. Bundle of old games, minigame collection, something! Porting wii sports over wouldn't even cost much!

Totalbiscuit said it was 5$ a month for the online service. 'not sure thats confirmed though' And to not be able to keep your monthly free game, thats simply too much.

Wish there were some informed people. Toriyama never said GT wasn't canon. Look at the interviews, google them. This comes from a interview one of the daizenshuu people translated. Search for toriyama gt interview. You find me one link that says otherwise, not 'heresay'

"its a perfect way to look at Dragon ball GT. For people who dont want it to be the real end to the dragon ball story, it is just a "side story" and for those who love it it can be part of the grand final story.'' Even Yamamuro said in 2015 it is connected. But it has characteristics of a side story. That SSJ4 comes after god.

tl;dr Its more canon than The Force Awakens. At least the original creator, Akira Toriyama, oversaw and had some involvement in GT. Disney literally scrapped everything, Lucas had in mind for his ideal trilogy. But people see that as canon all day long.

@Thanatos2k: I rather loved the Gamecube myself. For the most part, 3rd parties could put the same game on it as the competitors. Plus the ibm power pc deal made it easy to program for. It didn't sell ps2 well, but it didn't bomb by any means. Its when ninty decided to stick with last gen hardware, is when they knocked the hardcore crowd out.

Then the wii u didn't do much of anything for even the casual crowd. Plus, as of today, it is still at a MSRP of 299$. Only sales/refurbs brought the price down. Do you remember when the gamecube hit 99$ two years after launch? That hit the news like wildfire. We're over 4 years since the Wii U, without 1 official price drop. Ninty says it costs 100$ to make that gamepad. I'd be firing some people in r&d.

I think if ninty were to try and make a comparable system, went out of their way to get 3rd party support, I think they'd do just fine. Even with the hardware they got for the switch, I think its fine. Its software, they are bombing on. Not just gaming either. They should've showed using just the tablet, for say netflix-social media-internet sorta things. But their market research team, especially in america, is pathetic. Essentially nonexistent. 249$, it would be fine. 300$, we're in used ps4 PRO territory. Then look at replacement accessory prices. Even worse! I hope they succeed with the system, I do. But I pray their online bombs right in their face, as it stands right now.

@Jinzo_111887: Coming from someone who is primarily just a PC player, steam doesn't care about your money one bit. They don't test games they put on their service, at all. Say you buy a old game? Its not guaranteed to work. Just thankfully, they 'finally' got the refund deal. But even that, takes a little while and is just a band-aid. You have to log in every so often, as offline-mode is temporary. And for those of us with forced slow internet or bandwidth caps- logging in to see that last 12gb Doom patch, you have to wait awhile to even play your games at times. Why spend money on Half-Life 3, when loads of money come in just from hosting servers!? 'To those who didn't know. Steam launched right before half-life 2. And it wasn't till the later 2000s when it blew up huge.'

Now GOG, I'm with ya. That is one heck of a service that I'll get behind 100%.

'beyond the 3ds/vita, I can't think of a worse launch. I used to buy every console at launch, and can't remember when I was dissapointed. Even the wii launch, I loved. Just sadly after that, there literally was maybe a game a year. If that.

@doctor_mg: The SP battery itself was fine! Just you remember the port that charges it? That thing went bad on me in just about two years. So I couldn't use headphones, and it eventually just died. Hell of a system though.

See I think the specs are actually perfectly fine, if the rumors are right. Specially if you just have a 1080p tv, its not going to look horrible. If this was 'strictly' a console, oh yeah. Business suicide 101. I do think 299$ is the highest they could get away with though, especially with current gen consoles being so cheap already. It'll likely sell. Its just a personal thing, i don't think its a day 1 buy for me. And historically I'm a launch day buyer. '32 hours I sat for the wii. Mainly for fun really. But not even two hours after, people started packing quick!'

I hope they take advantage of what they got, and make this thing boom. I do. There is 'so' much potential. Think a tablet, plus a games system. My worry is their U.S. marketing and research team, is patheticly bad. If they can get software on this thing, it could be a must have. But I do believe if they bomb there, we might see another wii u problem.

I think it'll be fun and all. When the system gets a price drop, I'd probably pick one up to play it on it! Just, it eerily reminds me too much of original sonic adventure.
