Usually WASD w/ Inverted mouse but sometimes numpad with inverted mouse, all depends on what game I'm playing and what controls I've grown used to for it, heh.

It's still good, and hopefully blizz can build upon it with SC2. RTS wise, the only game that ever beat SC for me, was Rise of Nations, I've never had as much fun in an RTS as I did with RoN. I don't know though, I really don't have much respect blizzard anymore after WoW, it was such a cookie cutter MMO, made me sick, I'm thinking they won't do much new other than units with SC2, as well. Though I must admit they are the kings of addictive and fun gameplay, be it diablo, warcraft, or starcraft.

Well, you seem to be a PC gamer, therefor you're used to PC shooters, which are, in most cases, superior. Console users, on the other hand, will find Halo 3 to be an "amazing" game, due to the fact that they have probably never experienced a game as polished as Half-Life 2, for example.firefly026

In most cases? Try in EVERY case. :D

In all honesty, since GS gave bioshock a 9 (I thought it should've been a low 8 or high 7, due to the fact that there was NO challenge whatsoever in the game, without the vita chambers, that would've been one of the best games of the year for me), halo 3 should've been somewhere around a 6. =P

Hm, that's a tough one, I'd have to say Codename 47, because like loismustdie47, I thought it was more of a challenge than any of the others. But, if you want my opinion, buy the pack off steam if they're still offering it, something like 30 bucks for all 3. =)

-edit-

yup, they still have it

[QUOTE="fuAWEckSOinMEg"]If you're talking gameplay, well, CoD2 beats out the MoH series in it's entirety (well, Allied Assault and up). MoH is just too simplistic and arcady to me for it to be any fun. The formula is very old, and for me, holds no more entertainment. I enjoyed the series a lot more back when you walked around with a silenced pistol and false papers. =D I could play it endlessly back in those days, but now, with the frontlines focus, I just don't think they pull it off very well. Even when you can land anywhere in the level, the gameplay is exactly the same... and it's terribly boring. After 10 minutes of the demo I uninstalled it, there's no death penalty, upgrades are insanely easy to get, and even on hard the AI is terrible, there's no excusing that as 'oh, well, they're the first enemies you face.' But it's not like I'm concerned or losing any sleep over it, as long as EA holds the license to MoH, they will always be mindless, arcady, and overall boring shooters in my mind. Adding in a parachute jump isn't going to change that. (You can guess where my vote went. =P)SystemShock2

There's no doubt that moh is arcady, but how can you use that as a reason for cod being better? All the call of duty games are is a shooting gallery, plus you regenerate health and have a grenade indicator in the second one and up, and the game is incredibly simplistic. You run from point a to point b, and shoot everything inbetween. Every once in a while, you get to plant explosives and that's it.

I think CoD pulls it off a lot better than MoH, of course it's also arcady, but it has a more realistic feel to it, which I like a lot more. But in the end I'd rather just play RO or BiA, hehe.

I'm probably getting it on day 1, the multiplayer looks real promising. Just as long as they put some kind of checks in place on the perks... like no double tap and sleight of hand (I think that's the reload one) at the same time.

I agree. I was sort of looking forward to this game but now, after learning more about their greed-based pricing scheme, forget about it. Why are we now being asked to pay for content that up until recently was included with the price of the game? This smells like nothing more than a cash grab to me -- kind of like horse armor.-wildflower-
I agree.... Nice sig btw xD
