Happy with getting 4K @60fps. The XB1X has mainly been HD @30fps for most of its games so albeit low bar stuff, won't be needing a new TV for a while.

@ronaldmcreagan: From what I've read from test engineers and MS corporate teams, the Series X shall run 4K at 60FPS native, as a standard. With regards to that on console, it gives me a little twitch in my special place!

@Crazy_sahara: I can't honestly think of a situation whether it be work or gaming that doesn't require an internet connection, unless its retro gaming - but then retro rolled out complete games and not live service. The one time I never had internet was when using my laptop on a warship (playing starcraft) that required an internet registration to install the game and latest patches. I had to take my laptop ashore when alongside and update via a costa coffee WiFi that had a horrendous connection. Nowadays an internet connection is like an address required to apply for most jobs (email etc). It's no longer a case of 'buy TV, buy console, switch on and game'. Now there is an infrastructure required - Correct TV? Internet? Supply of batteries? Subscription? Email and login details? enough storage space? power source? - ok then ready for gaming! its a ballache, ive never spent so much time deciding a TV or Screen to buy in order to optimise my gaming experience! XD

@reznik00: LIVE subscriptions were inevitable mate. Blizzard was actually the first to start them with WoW. Xbox brought them in but regardless of who did, they were inevitable. If it wasn't MS it would be someone else that starts it. What massive company is going to continue to pay £££ to support a free live gaming service? It's business and that's what business's do. It's the way of life now, no amount of moaning will change it. Either pay the money and play, or don't play the money and quit gaming. Ultimately its those choices and the companies know it. IMO the money I spend on Xbox Live is extremely good value for money. £38 for a year + £10 for game pass = £48 if I decided not to buy anything else. This amounts to 100's and 100's of hours of gameplay. I spend more than that on a round of drinks down the boozer.

@GalvatronType_R: Completely agree. The only one problem with the 'too soon' thing is that my wife usually gets me the newer Xboxes for an xmas present. So when she heard about the series x, she mentioned how she only just bought me the XBX1 Scorpio. I'm Hyped for this massively, just hope my TV can support it properly!

I haven't played this since about a month after launch. Has it actually got any better?

I loved BF1, was a good twist on the franchise and initially thought this was ok, albeit a re-skin and couple of tweaks. I am desperate for a a BF3/BF4 modern type battlefield again.

Deathmatch Domination? Sounds like a guilt free justification for campers. Nethertheless, worth a shot. Interesting......
