Hopefully they will remove the 3-channel micro multiplayer map strategy and open it up a bit more.

However, I sincerely hope they give the option as to what platform you would like to play against. As a player of all platforms, I feel PC mouse and keyboard is too much of a significant advantage over console players.

I love all the Predator themes and films, even the with alien mashup. But to me, the concept of this game appears to lack complete depth. GR: Wildlands has a predator game mode which encompasses this. For that reason, I think this will flop.

I never mind being proven wrong though.

@tabyrd32: IMO (and this is only an opinion), i agree with everything you said. I feel that the NK fell too easily, but assessing all the variables involved, you are at your most vulnerable when you think you've won.

@imajinn: Agreed. I imagine that this may be because of the class system in DS games. The opportunity to customise character stats, image and weaponry justifies another playthrough. In DS games i like to start as a DEX build then playthrough with sorcery/Pyro. In Sekiro its just the one linear build. Still, great game. Glad i bought it.

IMO, anything that comes out of a From Software studio is well worth the money. They really set the bar when it comes to combat mechanics, scenery and general gameplay. This combat engine is something i would love to see in Elder Scrolls types games. Rather than just button mash and no idea if the hit has registered other than hearing a sound. The way the characters react to being hit/blocked and engaged is a truly superior - the intefaces between the actions and reactions. I feel that the combat mechanics (nowadays) are strongly set on the immersive engagment. This is the difference between buying games for me.

@videogameninja: Having played PUBG, Fortnite and other BR type games, IMO i can honestly say that this conclusion is relatively accurate. I think APEX is deffinitely suited to the kind of player who does not have hours and hours to invest on practicing to efficiently build structures in milliseconds, but rather to the type of player who embraces the FPS genre and can transfer across similar playstyles and tactical experience - thus levelling the playing field. Obviously there will be hard timers, but in a BR anything can happen to get the jump on anyone of any level. IMO in fortnite, if your building skill is pro, then you are at a significant advantage over any other player.

APEX is a breath of fresh air in the BR genre - constistently finding different ways to strategically eliminate other squads in every other game.

One thing that wasnt mentioned was the PING ability in APEX. This makes squad interaction extremely effective without the need of communicating via voice primary. Being able to tell your squad (with a single RB tap) that there is specific ammo, weps, enemies, tracks of enemies, rendez-vous points, defend, attack, watch, need ammo, need wep, shield, healing etc, is the best attribute of squad play since original Rainbow 6 pre-planned waypoint system. This ping pinpoints on the HUD and minimap

There is no way to say which is better. It is all down to player preference.
