This sounds to me like a financing plan Microsoft is offering. For people that don't have much money they can opt for a 99 dollar Xbox and in the end Microsoft gets a bit more out of you almost like interest in a loan. That would be the only reason I could see someone doing this.
The graphics are really starting to show their age but I'm sure they're keeping it that way so it's optimized for consoles. As a PC gamer though, this game really looks like crap.
I don't understand the point of the timed exclusive here. It's not like people are going to be running out the door to buy 360's just to play exclusive DLC. Most purchases will be from people that already own the game. Although I suppose an occasional super die-hard Skyrim fan would buy an Xbox just for that reason. Still, Microsoft probably spent more money to have exclusive rights then they will receive from selling Xbox's; absolutely boggles the mind.
I own a media HP laptop and it can handle some games fairly decently. It's great for traveling but I tried using it at home and it was just a pain. Built a desktop, love having a great big HD monitor, external keyboard and mouse and plenty of room to spare. Not to mention Desktop GPU's and processors are way more powerful compared to mobile. I love having my laptop for traveling and mobility but it will never replace my desktop at home for gaming, media, work etc. I just love having that large powerful interface.
