I know Ubisoft has locked out computers with dual core processors from playing. Not sure if Rockstar will.

@Idontremember: I gave up, I'm going to bed. I'll try again tomorrow.
My game is still unpacking.....I was hoping to be able to play an hour before bed. Still waiting an hour later.....this sucks.
Got it for free with a new 970. GTA 5 next week and I'm still playing Dragon's Age.
2010 Acura TSX.
@leafs_ducks: How long have you had it?
Are you using a legal version of Windows? I had problems like this year's ago with XP using Windows "Thrasher" edition. Thrasher was the name of the guy that gave me a burnt copy but I had similar issues. Anyways I reinstalled regular Windows.
I called evga customer support and they told me to update my BIOS. That was a pain in the a** in it's own right but that was the problem. I didn't think it was a compatibility issue with my mother board but hey you learn something new every day. About 4 hours later I'm finally finished installing my new graphics card :)
I just reinstalled my old graphics card and everything came up normal. I'm going to attempt the new card again but everything seemed correct.
Just purchased a new GTX 970 to replace my old 660 ti. Anyways installed the card into my mother board and booted up my computer. Computer starts then goes to the bios screen but takes a lot longer than normal to get out of it. It also post beeps about three times before it goes to the load scrren. Once it reaches the load screen, nothing. Just a flashing blip.
I shut everything off and rebooted. I reopened the case and reseated the card and checked cables, still the same problem. I'm going to attempt to put my old card back in the case and try. I really hope my hard drive didn't crap out but I have a bad feeling....
Any ideas.....thanks.
