It's been an evolving thing for me. I grew up with Toonami exposing me to anime in the 90's and since then I'm usually keeping with an ongoing series or searching for shorter, already completed ones. I understand why people don't like it though - Shonen types tend to borrow a lot from each other and are just awfully long and repetitive. Don't get me wrong, my favorite anime is a Shonen type - but nowadays I'd much rather deal with a shorter, 30 episode long series than having to trudge through 300+ episodes of storyline that should have only taken about 150 episodes to get through. As for it being only for kids - that's pretty much easily proven wrong with animes like Elfen Lied. No way in hell is an anime like THAT made for kids. But then again, it's understandable seeing how animation in the US is generally focused toward a younger audience. It's just a difference of perception.

I swear, this time it better be true. It's been stuck in a confusing, indecisive mess for the last 10 years. Let's hope that Spielberg sees to it that it's made right, I would hate to see a fourth movie completely destroy the series.

I know it's going to drive me nuts, but I'll have to hold out. The price is going to be way too high for the longest time so it simply won't be worth it. However since you guys mentioned Netflix, it may convince me to add Blu rays to my subscription. Otherwise I may not make it to the first price drop. :P

It's really hard to narrow it down to just one - I tend to really like several songs from all their albums. Overall though, the ones I enjoy the most are And Justice For All and Death Magnetic. The Black album comes behind those two, with Ride the Lightning after that. The others are simply just "good."

[QUOTE="dbz345"]Visual Basic isn't very hard to learn, it's one of the easier programming languages to learn from my experience. It does baffle me though why for both you and me, our professors insisted on us using a Visual Basic 6 book. Especially considering in reality, I actually learned Visual Basic .Net.mattbbpl
They don't even share the same framework or methodologies!

Hence why I never even touched my Visual Basic 6 book while I took the class. Utter waste of money, and a pain to find considering its age.

Considering that it's really cheap for an unlimited service, and it has nearly everything on DVD (and an acceptable number of streaming movies and TV shows) it's worth more than the 10 dollars a month.

This is a love hate kind of thing. Since I know this piece by heart, I always found myself anticipating the next note - thus leaving me in a constant state of "OMG hurry up and get to the next note before I literally twist myself in half!!!" So no, as cool as it sounds I can't bear listening to it for more than a few minutes.

I'll believe it when I see actual manga chapters... I never really thought the series had any chance of being continued after so many years. Definitely glad it's being considered and it's an actual possibility that the series will continue. I stopped keeping up with everything about the series because it had just stagnated into "Let's tweak a little something and rebrand it and sell it again!!" mindset.

I usually go up and down - there's a magic period of time when I'm slightly drunk that I will be absolutely amazing. Once I'm past that point it's all downhill - I may have more fun that way but I'm surely not helping my kill-death ratios or anything. :P
